I have worked with Urban Spaces for several years now and have always found their professionalism to be second to none. A special mention goes to Sinead, who is always on hand to ensure everything required is readily available. Their support and efficiency make working with them a consistently positive experience.

Urban Spaces are a great Estate Agency to work for. In particular, Sinead is consistently helpful and responsive to any issues our cleaning team encounters, promptly resolving problems and enabling the team to complete jobs with minimal disruption. She is always available when we need her even outside office hours. Thank you Sinead

Urban have managed 3 properties for me for close to 15 years. When I compare them to other agents I work with (bigger and smaller) they fit in the sweet spot of having critical mass - high quality process, access to a wide range of tradesmen - but also being in a position to build personal relationships and a mindset of nothing is too much trouble. Over the last few months I have worked closely with Sinead on a property that had a significant water leak so required plumbing repairs, new flooring and decoration - I love how Sinead always presents me with options, always takes the time to call me and checking I understand the quotes, the options and also follow up when work is complete. I feel she treats my flats with the same respect she treats her own home / money and that is important - in my experience agents can be very busy and just want to get the job ticked off the list irrespective of cost or quality - Sinead isnt like that and I appreciate it enormously

A special mention must go to Paige in the team who we work closely with and she is very diligent and on the ball with all of her work making sure we are always on top of everything and always following up with us 10/10 to her on that.

The best agency for unique urban spaces. Firstly using their services for a managed rental service was remarkable. They are very professional and have the know how to sync the right customers with the rental offering. Within 1 day good offers were on the table and I have 2 years carefree rentals.

Finally the property was put in the market and their sales team worked their magic! Good guidance and always friendly. A special call out to Egle and Richard at Urban Spaces for how they have teamed up with me and got the sales through.

I’ve been renting out my buy-to-let property in Bermondsey for several years now, and Urban Spaces have been absolutely exceptional throughout.

They handle the entire process from start to finish. Sourcing high-quality tenants, managing all onboarding, overseeing the tenancy, liaising directly with tenants, and ensuring the property is well looked after and compliant at all times. It gives me complete peace of mind knowing everything is being handled professionally and efficiently.

I would not recommend renting from this company. Especially if you are looking at the Lamb Brewery Studios. Since we have moved in there has been one problem after another. The biggest being a leaking roof for 3 months in our living room, with very little effort by anyone to want to repair it. They are however very good at demanding the rent with legal action if you try to withhold rent until the problem is fixed.
Other than this, we had no hot water for the first week and no heating for the first month. Plus a good 8 other issues we have had to have fixed. Highly disappointing service for an agent that aims to set them selves apart by claiming to offer better quality apartments and service. But as usual they are sell the dream and the price tag but not the service and value for money. AVOID

The heating failed in the property I just moved into. The flat is uninhabitable. I can not get any response from the company about fixing it (>72 hours). There is no way to get in contact with the company. Do not rent from these people.

Update: it is four weeks later and they still haven't fixed the heating and it's not clear if or when it will be fixed. The hot water was out for 2 weeks as well.
No compensation, no support. Minimal communication.
A terrible company and a terrible landlord. The flat is in Icon Apartments, E1 4FX, so people can afford renting it.

I have been with urban spaces for many years (purchased a property in 2008 and always rented it through a company which was latterly acquired by Urban spaces - part of the countrywide group). Oveer the years the costs have increased (as they have for all landlords) and the quality of service has dropped. I have found frequent cause to complain about poor standard of repairs for which I have been charged and also charges for work not actually completed. I have accepted this as part of the business, and have tended to come to an arrangement with the company. However after increasing number of issues and lack of action, responsiveness and misrepresentations to both myself and my tenant this has recently come to a head and I am now seeking to take further action and damages against the company. I made a GDPR request to support my case of a complaint to the regulatory body, and they have failed to fully address the request by not providing any information internally held and not sent to me in emails, and have advised they will not respond further. In addition they have delayed the repayment of my tenants deposits and advised them that this was down to the landlord when they had not in fact drafted the necessary docs for me to review. I would like to think this was a one off, but it seems to be getting worse, but I leave the review (clearly as an unhappy landlord - who is escalating their complaint), but at least you will have the review to consider and make an informed decision if you are a landlord, and if you are a tenant, please don't always assume that the landlord is the problem.

Will at Urban Spaces was well informed about the property and the area, professional and incredibly helpful throughout our buying process. The team were very efficient with all the required admin once we had our offer accepted. I cannot recommend the Urban Spaces team enough!
