I had such a great experience with USA United Lender! From the start, they made me feel supported and really cared about helping me get the loan I needed.
Even though my credit score was low, they didnât give up on me. Instead, they guided me step by step, helped me improve my credit, and made sure I had the best chance of approval. Because of their efforts, I was able to get a $15,000 loan, which has made a huge difference in my life.
I especially want to thank Lisa and Jack. Lisa was so kind, patient, and helpful throughout the process. Jack also went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They both made the whole experience stress-free and positive.
I had originally applied through LendingTree, but my loan was financed through USA United Lenderâand Iâm so glad it was. They truly stand out as a company that cares about their customers and delivers results.
I was researching a small personal loan online when I found myself being redirected from one site to another repeatedly. After a while, it felt like I was going in circles, so I closed all the windows.
The following morning, I received a voicemail (dated 03/16 at 9:25 AM) from a woman identifying herself as Lisa Wilson from âLanding Tree.â She stated that I had been approved for a personal loan of up to $15,000 and asked me to call back to discuss terms and finalize the paperwork.
When I returned the call, I reached her directly. Lisa confirmed that I was approved for $15,000 and explained that a $5,000 loan over 60 months would be approximately $203 per month. She then emailed me a link to a website (usaunitedlenders.net) and instructed me to enter my banking information so the funds could be deposited.
She also provided a âUnique Funding Numberâ (PDE99830) for bank authentication. During this process, I was directed to a page resembling a Plaid interface, which requested my bank login credentials. While still on the phone with Lisa, I completed the steps and was told that a âLoan Managerâ named Jack Parker would contact me next.
In the fine print, I noticed language referencing authorization for âCapital One Finance Group (under reversal credit & reversal process)â to access banking informationâwording that seemed unusual and inconsistent.
After about a 20-minute delay, Jack Parker called. He explained that he would perform a âcredit boostâ on my report by having LendingTree send three deposits totaling approximately $2,000 to my account. I would then return the funds to demonstrate repayment history and improve my credit score.
This is where the situation became highly suspicious. He instructed me to return the funds via Cash App or Apple Pay. When I explained I didnât have Cash App and my Apple Pay card was inactive, he suggested I purchase Apple Pay gift cards from a nearby 7-11. That raised immediate red flags, as this is a well-known tactic used in scams.
Upon further review, I noticed that all communications were coming from Gmail accountsânot official company domains. At that point, I informed them I would not proceed.
KShortly thereafter, I discovered that three fraudulent mobile check depositsâtotaling $1,981âhad been made into my checking account using checks falsely associated with the New York State Department of Finance and Taxation.
This was clearly a phishing and fraud scheme. I immediately secured my accounts, closed my checking account, and filed a police report.
Do NOT do business with âUSA United Lenders.â They are not a legitimate lending institution.
