I was duped

I was duped. Should have looked at these reviews. No one answers the phone. No one returns emails. Shipping is NOT as promised. They shipped paste but not wallpaper on time... still waiting.

Sleazy & Shady Business

Shopping with US Wall Decor was a shady, sleazy and deeply frustrating experience. Their business practices are intentionally deceptive, especially when it comes to returns. They charge eye-gouging "restocking fees" even on merchandise that is completely unused and unopened. There was nothing "restocked" about my order: it was untouched, exactly as received, yet they still kept a HUGE chunk of my money. That's not a reasonable policy...it's a cash grab designed to trap customers once they’ve already paid.

Customer service was no help and showed zero interest in resolving the issue fairly...just a single canned response. Instead of standing behind their products or policies in a transparent way, the company extorts fees to punish customers and squeeze more money out of them.

If you value honest pricing, clear policies, and ethical treatment of customers, definitely take your business elsewhere.

This is a false accusation.

Our return and restocking policy is clearly disclosed before purchase and follows standard wallpaper industry practices. In fact, our restocking fees are lower than most other wallpaper retailers. Once wallpaper ships, there are real handling and processing costs, even if an item appears unopened.

We did not act deceptively or outside our stated policy. The policy was applied exactly as written and consistently, as it is for all customers.

SAMPLES NOT THE SAME AS PRODUCTS RECEIVED)

Ordered a sample (which I paid for). Received COMPLETELY different paper. It was twice the scale of the sample I received and the pattern from the sample was not on the paper received. They said samples are only for color and texture...which I read nowhere in the materials received with the sample.

Then, they would not accept the return of the opened roll!!!

UPDATE: It was brought to my attention that I ordered a different paper than the sample...my mistake. I am still disappointed that they will not take back the roll that was opened. There was no other way for me to know that it was the wrong paper without opening it!

We're sorry to hear you feel this way. After reviewing your orders, the difference in pattern scale is due to the fact that you purchased two different wallpapers. The sample from 2023 was a peel and stick version, while your recent order was a traditional unpasted paper.

Our team explained this, offered to waive the restocking fee, and helped arrange an exchange. However, opened rolls can't be returned due to the manufacturer's policy.

We understand this has been frustrating, but we've been transparent and fair throughout. Calling our family business "thieves" is unfair and untrue when the issue stems from ordering two different products.

This company is so bogus

This company is so bogus. I ordered a product that I thought was grass cloth but it was just a faux grass cloth. Shame on me, my mistake. However, when I went to return the product that I do not need I was informed that since I looked at it and opened the plastic that it was in, they will not return it. Even though it is in mint condition and has been in my possession for 24 hours. Complete BS that they take advantage of people like that. I would never order from here again.

Thanks for your review. Our return policy follows wallpaper industry standards: once a roll is opened, it's considered used and can't be restocked or resold. This is why we can only accept returns on unopened rolls in their original packaging.

We always encourage customers to order samples first to ensure the color, texture, and material are exactly what they're looking for before committing to full rolls.

$500 mistake ordering from US Wall Decor….

I ordered $500 worth of Rifle Paper brand peel & stick wallpaper from US Wall Decor - I’ve purchased this brand of wallpaper from other retailers and never had an issue with quality and I’m not a pro but a highly experienced DIYer and have hung countless rolls of wallpaper- I know how to prep and hang and unfortunately this product was faulty- it immediately fell off of my well prepared walls and had to carefully be peeled off itself and the walls prepped again and spray glued back up, not once, not twice but three times - I literally walk in the room almost daily and re smooth the giant air bubbles out and keep it on the wall. I reached out to US Wall Decors customer service and as told sorry, nothing they could do since I’d opened the package… I’ve found other reviews with customers having the same issues so obviously a faulty product (I’ve hung the cheapest Amazon peel & stick wallpaper and never had this issue). But no assistance from this retailer, no offer of even a partial replacement/refund or store credit- a $500 waste of my money - do not purchase from this retailer if you want any sort of positive customer service, they apparently have not built their business on repeat purchasers.

*update* US Wall Decor responded saying their policy is to offer a 50% refund in these cases - I find their response disingenuous, I specifically asked for a refund/store credit and was told via email by Leslie “While we’re not able to offer a refund in this case due to our policy, we absolutely take your concerns seriously and are genuinely sorry we couldn’t provide a resolution that felt more supportive.” No partial refund was offered.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. This particular Rifle Paper Co. peel & stick wallpaper is one of our top sellers, and we haven't found it to be defective. Peel & stick wallpaper does not work well on all wall surfaces, especially if there is any texture, gloss, or paint that can affect adhesion. While we aren't responsible for installation issues or wall conditions, we do stand behind our customers. Our policy is to offer a 50% refund or replacement rolls in situations like this, as opened/hung rolls are final sale.

Excessive return fees

The product was fine. The problem with the company is that they charge an excessive percentage of the cost of a roll to make a return of unused whole rolls of paper. I will hesitate to purchase again from a company with such a punitive return policy.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you were happy with the wallpaper itself! Our return policy does include a 15% restocking fee, which is actually well below the industry norm of 25-30%. This fee helps cover the cost of processing returns, and it's especially important with wallpaper since it's made in batches (lot numbers). Once rolls leave the warehouse, they can't always be resold into the same batch, so we work hard to keep the fee as low as possible while still maintaining quality and consistency for our customers.

Customer Service is terrible

I ordered 4 rolls of wallpaper and only received 2. I reached out through email and received one response asking for pictures (which I responded to same day) and now it has been over a week and I have had no response. This was wallpaper ordered for my nursery, and is a time sensitive project. I am worried I will not have it done by the time my baby arrives. There is no other way to contact them. Their customer service is extremely disappointing.

It's been two weeks and still have not…

It's been two weeks and still have not had my order shipped, I reached out after a week and told them I had a deadline and inquired when my order would ship. They told me 1-3 days. It's now 5 days later and my order hasn't shipped yet. When j emailed and asked they said it would ship July 9th making it 8 days not 1-3nand wayyyyyyy past the promised expected arrival date when I ordered and my deadline.

Order not fulfilled and no communication

Order placed on 6/13/25 and confirmation received, but order has not shipped. I reached out via the contact form and have not received a response. I see in comments here that they say they have a telephone number in their FAQs, but their FAQ document indicates that they are not supporting that telephone number at this time. So they have my money and I have no wallpaper or any indication of when I might receive wallpaper.

No wiggle room on returns

I ordered the wallpaper and there was delay in the installers being able to hang the paper. Unfortunately, too many rolls were ordered, and I am unable to return the 2 expensive and unopened rolls. The window to return is 30 days and I am at day 44.

A very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this company’s customer service. I was charged for 2nd Day Air shipping, but my package didn’t arrive until five days later. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for clarification and support, I received no helpful response or resolution. Frustrated, I ended up ordering the same item through Wayfair—which ships from the exact same supplier—at a better price and with more reliable service. I won’t be ordering from this company again and cannot recommend them based on my experience.

No customer support or phone number

I ordered seven rolls of wallpaper but received only six. The business lacks a contact phone number, and my attempts to reach customer support via email were unsuccessful. My only recourse now is to dispute the charge with my credit card. I advise against engaging with any company that does not provide a direct phone contact, as their customer service is inadequate.

Hi Roger, Thank you for your review. I did take a look and can confirm that we've responded to all of your emails that updated you on the delay from the manufacturer, which was due to a warehouse repair on their end.

As for your comments, we do have a business phone number, but as noted, all customer support is currently handled online. We also note that support responses can take 1–3 business days, as we're a small team and reply to messages in the order they're received.

That said, I'm happy to share that your order has now shipped—you should have received an email with the tracking details.

Ordered 120 dollars worth of…

Ordered 120 dollars worth of merchandise. Was charged 34 dollars to return it.
Don't buy from this company if you think you might need to return anything!

Not happy

Like I said I have gotten 0 emails from you. The address is correct and I ck all the junk, spam! Now was that so hard to tell me on here it was backordered?? The emails must be going to someone else!
