Not great ...
Not great .... over a month and still chasing refund for goods I returned a month ago. Transaction only
Moving forward now due to me chasing a refund. Please read small print about automated cash being taken from account for subscription ... then as mentioned above having to contact time and time again for a refund. .

"Free sample" trap
I ordered what was clearly advertised as a free sample of Gold Dust, only paying for shipping. A week later I was hit with a £26 charge for a full subscription I never knowingly signed up for, and they sent me the full order I didn't want.
This is a classic scam tactic. The "free sample" page makes it look like a simple one-off trial, but buries the auto-subscription in small print. Plenty of other people have complained about this and Variety Mode's standard reply is always "we understand your frustration" or "we completely understand how disappointing this must feel."
If you truly understood the frustration, you wouldn't keep running this deceptive model that catches so many people out. You know exactly what you're doing, designing the checkout to trick customers into recurring payments. Stop pretending to be sympathetic while pocketing the money.
Do not order the "free sample." It's not free, and cancelling/refunding is a nightmare. Save your money and avoid this company.

The chocolate is not for everyone, customer service will get back to you , although it can be difficult when they do t respond immediately, this company are able to sort out any problems which assists .

Delicious, tasty and gives a good mood feeling
Delicious, tasty and gives the happy feeling. Got the sample pack and was very impressed from the quality alone of the packaging. Very nice. I was sceptical about a drink with mushrooms and wasnt expecting such an amazing experience, taste 100% nicest hot chocolate ever, I mean coffee or is it something on another level lol? Cant wait to get my months supply now that I've ran out.

I ordered the "free sample" and paid…
Brown sugar water. Worst £4 of my life.
Then another £4 to send it back. So that's £8 spent on a bag of brown sugar water that went straight in the bin. What a waste.
What really annoyed me wasn't even the product — it was the business model. I thought I was ordering a free sample and paying for delivery. I did not realise I was effectively being enrolled into a subscription and sent a full bag on the assumption that I would love it.
The drink itself was underwhelming and certainly not something I would have chosen to purchase again. If a company is confident in its product, it shouldn't need to rely on customers missing the small print to generate sales.
The whole experience felt gimmicky, disappointing, and unnecessarily frustrating. I won't be ordering again.

Tried the 5 day trial and cancelled the subscription immediately. They have however charged me. I tried to cancel the subscription again, but my account states that it is still active. I’ve asked for a refund and for them to cancel my subscription, so let’s hope this is done as I’m really disappointed with how difficult they make the subscription process to cancel. Feel like I have been robbed. Major scam.

I can’t wait for the next order to actually arrive
I ordered the sample and absolutely LOVED it! The taste of the cocoa powder is amazing, you can have it hot or cold and it tastes like hot choc or milkshake.
Already after having it for 4 days, somehow my sugar cravings have gone and I want to eat clean cause I feel good inside.
I had signed up for the subscription when I ordered the 5 day sample abd can't wait for my next order to come!

Free sample received which tasted really nice.
Unfortunately it was not made clear that I was being signed up to a subscription when ordering a trial sample. I was charged full price a week later.
*Carlton contacted me and provided a full refund and a month's worth of gummies for the inconvenience.

Fantastic product!
I am loving this product! I feel much more alert and have increased focus, with mental clarity. It's a great support for perri menopause. You get the added benefits of the combined mushroom complex, and this is definitely a product I can`t do without! I add a splash of milk to the powder, with hot water, so it's just like a hot chocolate. It tastes smooth and silky. I love it! I recommend that anyone try this if they are struggling with mental dexterity and focus. 10/10 to Variety Mode!

I ordered the free sample package
I ordered the free sample package, and before I even had a chance to try it, I was suddenly charged £25 for a subscription without knowing I had signed up. I did not like the taste of the powder so I have lost money paying for a product I didn't even want or like. I spent half an hour trying to cancel my subscription online, which the company seems to make very difficult.
