I had a great overall experience with 


I had a great overall experience with Vector Security. I wasn't surprised as I have used their security products and services for other homes I have owned over the years with similar success. They offered the best technology for what I needed, and the installation was professional and per our agreement. Their customer service is outstanding, and I know their monitoring service going forward will provide me great peace of mind.

I've been very happy with the electric 


I've been very happy with the electric "security" part of the company/ the entry alarms, etc, - the service center people are very nice but can only take info, not actually help or resolve problems - and I'm not going to waste my time waiting for a supervisor to call while I'm WAITING for a tech to call -- they take hours to respond - they won't even call to say they are "too busy" to talk to you. That's why I'm looking for a new company. I was the first in my neighborhood to let you guys switch me but over the years when a tech is needed you're out of luck. There's too many companies offering services and resources if you were to get robbed. I advised the service center would call to cancel - but am still paying while I look and getting whatever service I can in the interim. (Would not recommend you to my neighbor though - he's a Baltimore Raven football player - unless he had his own IT for your security system)

Customer service is horrible

Customer service is horrible. Took forever to get through to anyone for any kind of service help. Trying to cancel the policy was even more difficult. First we were told we would need to pay out the remaining coverage FOR THREE YEARS. Then when we finally got that removed they charged us another month while they processed our cancellation. We were told as long as we had it in by the end of the month, the following month would not be charged, but it was, even though I had talked to customer service 4 times to confirm and get paperwork in. This company needs to get their act together as I will never use the again.

This company used to be excellent...

This company used to be excellent, but after attempting to schedule an install of a 2nd security system in 2nd house, the Raleigh, NC branch would not quote me or call back. Vector is in sales right? I have paid my bill since 2010 right?

Bill H. went above and beyond in trouble shooting and figuring out what was wrong with our alarm system which was complicated. So that we could have a peace of mind knowing our home was protected by Vector Security. Thank you

Vector service has been excellent but some equipment reliability issues

The security service has been excellent. The equipment has not totally lived up to expectations. Several sensors have failed, one resulting in a false call to police and the outside cameras have periodic clarity and sensitivity issues. Vector has been prompt in responding to service calls when requested.

Not a particularly responsive company.

I did write a review to your company when we disconnected service. It wasn't glowing then either. Not sure why you'd care about my opinion now that I don't have service since we couldn't get you to care when we did.
Non-responsive to our calls. We finally disconnected the lines due to reno work for 6 months before the end of our contract and disconnecting service completely and never once received a call from your service to see what was up. Not great monitoring. Before lines were disconnected your calling center failed to call us to check on alarms going off TWICE resulting in the fire department being dispatched. Selling agent was non-existent after he got us to sign the contract.

Victor Security is okay

Victor Security is okay. I feel you'll need to give more up grade for long time customers. Maybe some free, as a think you, such as adding to the system with a helpful fire & video monitoring system.

After the hurricane our system was 


After the hurricane our system was unable to communicate with the monitoring center for several weeks. They called every night at 11 pm to tell us this. Then they told us it was because of the cell towers being down which was not true. Finally after 3 weeks of no service they came and changed our box. This was not acceptable service.

Vector's personnel was expeditious in the installation of our alarm system and most expeditious in response to alarms (smoke). Courteous staff. Would highly recommend.
