We have used Vector Security for 


We have used Vector Security for decades. They are very responsive. Today I had a new video doorbell put in, plus a new back door security lock. The technician was terrific. He spent all the time I needed to help me understand how to operate everything. I would recommend Vector Security.

Do not use this company use any other company in the world. Service is horrible product so horrible the contract is unbelievable you pay $75 a month for 2 1/2 three years and the service is garbage

Worst Business I Have Ever Experienced!

This is the most dishonest and disappointing company I have ever dealt with. One example: a system is supposed "to move" with a customer. Our representative in Naples, FL, AAA, refused to remove our system before we closed the sale on our home. After the closing, the company actually went to the new owners and expected to be let into the house to remove the system. This was, somehow, our fault. Another: We never -literally never- use the system. I have called to have a premium service removed repeatedly. On two occasions, I was told that it would be removed from my bill. When it wasn't, I called back and there was no history of me ever making a call. In other words, apparently call/account history was deleted, for no record of my existed. I refused to pay the extra fees and unfortunately, collections is being threatened over $10 and $10.70. I have even given in and paid the charges, yet the payments weren't posted nor were the checks cashed. DO NOT even consider this company. You will regret it. This is a review from a current customer...not a fake review. In fact, I have to enter my account number to submit this.

NEVER RETURN CALLS

I have had Vector for over a year now. Recently, I call to upgrade my service to cover my garage. The customer service center took my information and said they would call back. NEVER DID! So, I called back. Same situation happens again. "Someone will contact you" Well no one does. They get you to sign up and forget about you. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!

Over 8 Year Customer

I have to rate Vector Security as Average because, for long term customers, upgrades are on the last things to do for their customers. I have had Vector Security for over 8 years and I received 1 upgrade which was not the newest upgrade. So, I will have to get another upgrade that is not current with the on going market. Other than that their monitoring system is really good, their response time is great .

Disapointed

The person who came to change the battery was very nice. I'm disappointed with the company who took too long to find someone to help me. I went & I bough the batteries to find out there were not has good. I have waited 4 days already listened to the beep & I couldn't wait another week. When I complain that I have pay extra money for this service, then they found someone. I have been with this company for a long time and I hope next time I need help I will get a better service.

The service is typically good but the 


The service is typically good but the people who call when the alarm is set off are not always properly trained. It seems to me that they should be given a script that is easy to follow. But on several occasions, the Vector caller has referred to my husband or me by name rather than asking our name -- clearly at odds with the purpose of the call, which is to test the identity of the person answering the phone. I have brought this to the attention of management on more than one occasion.

Vector can be great!

I've been with Vector for over four years. The monitoring is very good. The sub-contractors they use for repairs are horrible. They have no evening hours and you wait over 2 weeks for weekend appointments. They don't show up and don't call to notify you. I was without service for over a month and half until the company can "work" around my work schedule. Once the repair person came,all was taken care of. Vector monitoring and calling customer service are great! Repairs NOT so much!

Alex Petras

Alex came to install my system and did an excellent job. He started by arriving on time and showing me his Vector I.D, he then went through the work order with me. At the end of the install Alex did a very good job showing me how to use the system, he also offered me a camera to add on to the job but I politely declined. Overall all my experience with Vector Security as a company has been wonderful

Customer service problem solving very,very poor

When terminating my service, I had to go through a lot of changes(writing a letter, scanning it , and sending it to a special department) that should have been easier and not so time consuming. I was promised a refund for my unused service more than a month ago and , to date, I have not received it or been told when it will come.
