I have felt self conscious of the varicose veins on the back of both legs for many years, never leaving the house in shorts or skirts that would show my lower legs. Only ever wearing shorts abroad where no one knew me. The VeinCentre in Colchester have literally changed my life. I had a consultation at the beginning of year, but didn't have the procedure until 5th July, as I had several long haul flights booked before this. The staff at the centre are all amazing, special mention to Karen on reception, her tea, biscuits and welcoming manner are all just perfect. On the day of the procedure Mike Delbridge was very informative and talked me through each procedure and was very calming as I was a little nervous. Mike and the nurse ( apologies I have forgotten her name) chatted to me the whole time to take my mind off what was happening. I had EVLA & Foam Sclerotherapy. I was called by the clinic a few days later to check up on how I was feeling. After I removed the stockings 7 days later I could already see a vast improvement in both legs, and once the bruising had died down, I was amazed by the difference in my legs and I have been out in shorts all the time!! I attended on 19th Aug for my follow up and had a little extra foam sclerotherapy. I am extremely please with the outcome of my visits to the centre and wish I had my varicose veins sorted earlier. The clinic is well worth attending - I cant thank the staff enough for helping me get my confidence back in wearing summer clothes again.

Very happy.. I was soo nervous but lovely ladies and very nice doctor Mike took care of me… I was in so much pain and now it’s all gone. Any time I had a question they were so helpful.. thank you so much . Highly recommend

Such friendly, well informed, helpful people especially the lady who greeted me before seeing the doctor.

Everything went smoothly and to plan.Staff were very helpful and obliging and performed their tasks well. As I have been told that veins sometimes take months to dissolve I cannot confirm everything has been a 100% success.

I had excellent care. I know longer feel any pain in my legs and I’m know longer embarrassed to wear dresses. My only regret is that I didn’t have the procedure done sooner.

At the present I'm disappointed with the result of the procedure. However, it may take up to 6 months for the result to be fully noticeable. I'm giving it that amount of time before commenting further.
All the staff medical at Marks Tey were very pleasant, reassuring helpful and professional. The admin. staff were too although the liaison between Marks Tey and the head office is woefully inadequate and caused me stress and many phone calls and emails to sort the matter put. The person at the Vein Centre dealing with the problem was very helpful in obtaining a satisfactory result.

I had the best experience at the Veincentre Colchester. The team made me feel so at ease and comfortable throughout. Mike Delbridge & Liz were so friendly and informative at the consultation I booked straight away. The ladies at reception were great too! I visited the Colchester clinic for the 4th time including my consultation to have some mirco thread veins treated following successful EVLA and Sclerotherapy in October and December last year. Both my consultant, nurse and receptionist were welcoming again. They listened to my areas of concern and I am hopeful for some improved comestic results in time for the summer, thank you.

Completed my second course of foam sclerotherapy at Colchester for varicose veins. I had undergone Avulsions, EVLA and foam sclerotherapy treatment on both legs on my first visit. Totally professional throughout from all of the staff, Karen on reception, Liz the nurse and Bianca the consultant. Bianca explained the process comprehensively before and during the treatment to ease any fears. Patience required to see final results but all looking good and pre treatment pain and cramping has disappeared.

Can’t praise the staff highly enough at the Colchester clinic. I have just had my second course of treatment and each time I have attended the clinic every member of staff have made me feel so welcome and put me at ease. I have wanted to get my veins treated for years and just wish I had started this treatment ages ago. Obviously I will have to wait a while to appreciate the final outcome but up until now I would definitely recommend Veincentre to anyone thinking of having this procedure.

Update on the below review. I was called by the customer service team - extremely responsive once the review was published. They were very apologetic and concerned with my disappointment. Great so far..... they arranged for me to see another vein specialist offering a laser consultation, I was advised during the call that after I attend the arranged appointment they would speak to Natalia (consultant) and then call me to discuss a way forward to achieve the desired result. I have sent 2 emails asking for an update as this was almost 3 weeks ago but unfortunately I haven't heard anything since.
On the positive side the entire team at Colchester are friendly, polite and helpful. So, on that basis this review of 2 stars is more about the lack of response and being left feeling disregarded. However, Natalia did advise that it was a further £200 per session for the treatment.

Disappointing results, far more costly than the initial quote and lots of changes to their appointments. Would not recommend - sorry!

Visited the Colchester office. Karen on reception was exceptional offering every comfort. The appointment was on time, thorough and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend a visit for any vein issues.

Very friendly reception staff.
Misleading advertising on website and pre-consultation: Not prepared to treat minor thread veins without a relatively major procedure to strip larger internal veins from groin to ankle first. Their comment was that they are a medical centre not a cosmetic centre. I haven't yet received the doctors report as promised, nor receipt for payments.

Karen on reception and Liz and Maura who both assisted Bianca when carrying out my procedure.
The whole experience at the Vein Centre based near Colchester was both friendly and Professional. I felt totally relaxed in there care. Really pleased with the results so far and I’ve been assured that over time the appearance of my legs will continue to improve.
I would definitely recommend the service they offer and I’m sure I will be back in the future for any further treatment that I think may be required. 😉👍
