Warm welcome from reception. Doctor and assistant made the appointment comfortable. Very knowledgeable. Every step of consultation was explained in an easy to understand manner. Treatment and costs issued along with a hand book with answers to any questions I may have. Aftercare also discussed. At no point I felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. Booked Treatment before leaving. I would definitely recommend Glasgow office and wish I had contacted years ago.

Dr Navin Mathias was extremely thorough and explained the process fully. All options were covered with an appropriate treatment plan suggested.

Avoid! Do not waste your time and money here!

The entire appointment feels like a standardized commercial assembly line designed to sell treatment packages rather than provide a genuine medical diagnosis.

I paid £250 for a consultation and a duplex colour ultrasound (Eco-Doppler), but here is exactly what happens during the appointment:

1. I arrived and filled out paperwork to complete the file I already submitted and paid for online.
2. I met with a practitioner and a nurse who simply read out the automated tick-boxes from my online form, then sent me to a small room to change into a medical gown.
3. They take photos of my legs.
4. The nurse asked me to lie down to measure my legs for compression stockings (stockings they won't even prescribe unless you pay for a full treatment package with them).
5. The practitioner used an ultrasound machine that functions strictly as a basic, grey-scale structural monitor (more like a standard pregnancy scan than a vascular assessment).
The machine displayed no colour-flow Doppler imaging and emitted no sound, making it physically impossible to measure blood flow velocity or actual circulation issues.
My scan lasted less than 2 minutes; the practitioner rushed so severely they had to constantly reapply gel because the machine kept drying up. They only scanned one side of my legs, completely omitting the other side or the back of the knee (the exact area completely covered in spider veins).
6. After this brief 2-minute partial scan, I changed back into my clothes, and the rest of the appointment was a sales pitch. My physical functional symptoms were completely dismissed as "merely cosmetic" (despite them not actually checking the circulation with the machine).

They spent the remaining time selling me a micro-sclerotherapy treatment, and giving me dismissive, highly deficient answers to clinical questions like "If there is not a circulation issue, why the spider veins keep appearing?" and "why if there are no vascular issues my skin changed when my spider veins appeared?".

They care far more about converting patients into paying customers for expensive treatment packages than investigating what is actually wrong with your vascular health.

Absolute lack of clinical integrity.

All my questions were answered in detail.
The details of the procedure reassured me to go forward.

From start to finish my whole experience was excellent all of the staff were warm caring and very professional which made me feel relaxed and at ease. I was welcomed by Cathy and Navin for my scan. The initial procedure was pain free and also relaxing as i almost fell asleep. I would highly recommend this procedure as from start to finish the efficiency and all the medical procedures were exceptional.

I had a procedure done on my right leg. I was very nervous when I arrived although everything gad been explained at my initial appointment I was still very nervous. Sussie and Cathy chatted to me and made me feel really relaxed and the procedure went well and I was so pleased and a little embarrassed at how nervous I was when I arrived it was painless. I would happily recommend the Veincentre.

I was really nervous at my first appointment with Vein Centre. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. At appointment Dr Navin explained the process well and gave me information home to read, before next appointment. At both appointments, Cathy and Dr Navin made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Hi had varicous vein removal treatment at Glasgow West george street. Service was brilliant felt comfortable throughout full treatment. Doctor and nurse Anne was great highly recommended. Only been 8 weeks and results are unreal wish I done years ago. Had tightness for mayby around 10 days but nothing unbearable very minor. Recovery was very quick and very minor bruising also. RIP off ! Slap dash !! Charge a fortune and don’t do all the veins !! Was charged for £250 two times for 5 minute consultation! Surgeon was lazy and missed lots of problematic veins ! Results were very poor annd could have been much better if the surgeon had bothered to spend more than 30 minutes on the procedure!! After contracting , complaining and requesting another appointment was told I’d have to pay again!! Rude receptionist also ! Terrible experience. Go elsewhere do not use this company . It was West George street in Glasgow.

All staff were professional, friendly and put me at ease throughout each appointment.
Clear explanations given on what the procedures involved as well as cost.
I did find that I experienced quite a bit of pain following EVLA but it was well worth it as the results are great.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of having this done.

What a brilliant experience. I received Unilateral EVLA ± Sclerotherapy treatment and could not be happier.
