It’s like having a new pair of legs
I am very pleased that i chose Veincentre Leeds for my treatment, the experience from consultation through treatment to follow up appointments with my consultant Dr David shaw was both very informative and reassuring. I didn’t feel nervous, i was looked after extremely well by the nursing staff, and two months down the line they are feeling and looking better everyday.

The advice I received was very helpful, and all the staff were professional throughout my visit from reception to consultant. The consultation was clear and reassuring — the consultant explained my ultrasound results in detail and guided me through the treatment options, recovery process, and aftercare with real care and expertise.

The consultation was very informative…
The consultation was very informative and made easy to understand by the consultant , explaining the full process of the procedure and a thorough explanation of the results of the scan, on both legs, showing the bad leg as well as the good leg for a comparison

Everyone was lovely
Everyone was lovely, the receptionist, nurses, and the consultant who did a fab job sorting out my veins. It’s been 4 months since treatment and apart from a bit of staining, which is getting better all the time, my veins are flat and my legs look so much better. I would say that the treatment was a bit more uncomfortable than I expected but I’m so happy with the results so far. Great team, thank you

Professional and friendly service
Professional and friendly staff made the appointment delightful. Every effort was made to explain the procedure and results. I was very pleased to hear that my veins and arteries were all working fine and that there was no medical necessity to have any treatment. I was given the option to have treatment but this would be purely for cosmetic purposes.

Treatment at VeinCentre
Throughout my experience at VeinCentre Leeds, the whole of the team were efficient, professional and caring. Mr Dodd, my consultant, allayed any of my fears prior to my treatment. On the day of the procedure Mr Dodd and my nurse Rosie were friendly whilst being completely adept.
It is almost 4 months since the procedure took place and I continue to see improvements. I would highly recommend VeinCentre and would not hesitate to return should the need arise.

How times have changed!
If you’re nervous about getting this done, don’t be.
From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel at ease.
The initial consultation will put your mind at rest as all options are discussed and clearly explained with no hard sell.
On the day, you literally walk in and walk out. Science has come a long way! Around 25 - 30 years ago, getting this done was traumatic and an overnight stop in a hospital. Now it’s easier than the dentist…!
I could not recommend these guys more.

The team were running a little late
The team were running a little late. But after a cup of tea, a biscuit and a friendly chat it was soon my turn.
I found the medical process very thorough and everything was explained in simple terms. My results were better than I expected so I/we decided it was not necessary for further treatment at this time. My examination was followed up with a written report emailed to me the following day. Thank you Dr David Shaw & team.
