We run a small family office and allocated a mid-six-figure amount to Veltrus as part of a diversified alternative investments strategy. After 6 months the returns have been remarkably consistent — monthly average of 4.6% with low variance. The risk-adjusted returns are significantly better than our other alternative allocations. The institutional-grade approach to risk management — position sizing limits, human oversight, and trading only liquid large-cap equities — aligned well with our mandate. We're likely to increase our allocation next quarter.

It took about 10 days from my strategy call to actually being live and trading. That felt slow and I was getting a bit antsy. Once I was live though, everything has been smooth. Returns are averaging about 4.8% monthly over 3 months. Support is responsive. The platform works exactly as described. If they could tighten up the onboarding timeline I'd have zero complaints.

One of the first things I did after my second month was request a partial withdrawal. Not because I needed the money but because I wanted to verify I could actually get it out. The process was straightforward — submitted through Alpaca, funds hit my bank in 2 business days. That test alone gave me enough confidence to increase my allocation. Returns have been consistent around 4.5-5% monthly. No complaints.

When I do reach out they're responsive and helpful, but I'd love to see more regular updates without having to ask. A weekly email with a quick summary would go a long way. That said, the core product delivers and I'd still recommend them.

I spent about 6 weeks researching algorithmic trading platforms before committing. I looked at Veltrus, plus two forex-based algos and one crypto bot. The forex algos wanted me to deposit with offshore brokers which was a non-starter. The crypto bot had wild swings — up 12% one month, down 8% the next. Veltrus stood out because: 1) my money stays in my Alpaca brokerage account, 2) they trade Fortune 100 stocks not speculative assets, and 3) every trade gets human review before execution. Three months in and I'm up 15.3% with a max drawdown of about 1.8%. Very happy with my choice.

The team is professional, they answer questions quickly, and everything runs through Alpaca so I always have full visibility of my account.

Onboarding was smooth, account was live within 48 hours. Returns have been tracking well since.

Was skeptical but the numbers don't lie. Up 11% in 10 weeks.
