I have been working with Carolina for about a year. She is wonderful: patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about world affairs and history. She shares a lot about the Guatemalan culture, which is my favorite part of our lessons. My Spanish has improved a lot, and learning about her culture inspired me to schedule a trip there this coming January.

The teachers and course work are great. Dedicated teaching professionals.

I just wanted to provide some positive feedback for Julia Reyes. She is amazing. Not only is Julia an excellent teacher, she is very patient, able to make distinctions between Spanish and English that I believe would take a very long time for me to discover on my own. Our lessons are well planned and her approach to working with me feels like it is very well tailored to me according to how I learn.

Thank you for responding to my request and assigning Julia to be my teacher. I am enjoying my Spanish lessons now and feel very inspired to work diligently to learn the language.

So far so good!!! I am really beginning to understand how the language is spoken!!! My teacher is patient and kind. I am very pleased!!

I find it very difficult to learn a new language it’s just not an ability I’m blessed with so I am slow at picking things up or remembering them. But my teacher Ana is encouraging, patient and never makes me feel stupid. I am lucky to have found her through Verbalicity. Also the lessons are arranged in a manner that makes sense. It’s the first time I have felt encouraged rather than useless.

I love this service! It’s helped me learn a lot because since it’s one on one it forces you to speak and be engaged. I’ve had several months of lessons for less than the cost of a Spanish 101 class at a university and it’s definitely been more useful simply because I’m getting personalized attention and real time feedback for my mistakes. I’ve become a lot more comfortable with speaking even though of course it takes a lot of focus.

My teacher is Norma and she’s lovely, always very positive and funny and patient. She gives great explanations for grammatical concepts. My lessons have been pretty much entirely in Spanish since the very beginning and honestly even though it was kind of difficult at first it’s a big confidence boost to see how much I can understand. It’s also nice because it’s easy to reschedule lessons when my work schedule is hectic.

I’d highly recommend verbalicity, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences.

Y, 5 años después? Todavia estoy estudiando la idioma con lo mismo maestro (Paolo) de Verbalicity. Puedo llevar unas conversaciones con hablantes de español de latinamerica cuando estaba en mexico. Yo se que tengo que practicar mas. Por eso, seguimos adelante y continuamos nuestro viaje de la lengua.

My teacher has been excellent, I feel like in only 4 or 5 lessons so far that I am learning much more quickly than with just apps. I would highly recommend

I was hesitant at first but I really liked how they are helping teachers in Guatemala by providing folks with steady work through this online platform, so I gave it a try. My teacher is Norma; She's really upbeat and friendly. We talk about anything and everything, and the conversation just flows. Through our conversations, I am not only practicing speaking but also learning new vocabulary/expressions but also getting to know my teacher as well as life and culture in Guatemala. It's really fun, and a great price too. Constructively, I think it would be helpful to have a bit more structure/lesson plan and I think I'll ask Norma more about that during our next lesson.

My teacher is amazing! I love the lessons and the balance between grammar and conversational practice. This is the best value of any language learning program I've tried (and I've tried a few).

So far I am really enjoying my experience with Verbalicity. My lessons are flexible for my schedule. There is a structural approach, and we review and build every lesson. I feel like the experience is really immersive. I’m spoken to almost entirely in Spanish, with pauses to explain things if I ask. I’m a fresh beginner, but I like that it’s done this way.

I have a couple of weeks of class under my belt. My teacher, Paolo, is great. We are working well together and I am looking forward to learning from him how to speak, read and write in this language.

Verbalicity, for me, has been the most effective way to learn how to speak, hear, read, and write Spanish. There is no substitute for one-on-one learning with a real professional. Norma, my instructor, is engaging, pleasant, funny, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with me. I enjoy my sessions with her which keeps me motivated to continue to progress with Spanish.

I want to give a shout out to my teacher Norma. I can't say how much I enjoy my classes with Norma. She helps in so many ways:
---the context for which word to use when there are options
---grammar explanations that are clear and concise
---always good humor and encouragement
---and flexibility in scheduling.
