Worse security app.EVER! The camera works good most of the time. However the app. Sends the wrong notifications everyday. It can tell you someone is wandering around at 300AM.
Or a car is arriving. No matter what the notification says the best thing to do is to check because 95% it is wrong. Also i just saw a question on google that asks how long the camera lasts on a charge. The answer given was 6 months which is a LIE. Id honestly say a month at the longest but usually 2-3 weeks. They charge 69.00 a year for this crappy service. Dont waste your money. Simply not worth it.Try Wyze better camera, correct notifications and 20. A year for the service. Much better camera and deal altogether.

Wish I could give them 0 stars!!! The camera stopped working after only 6 months and trying to deal with the customer service is pointless. They won't replace the junk camera that stopped working. Don't waste your money on their junk cameras!!!
Google Vico Home Smart fraud charge of $216.3 7 on my debit card.
Google Vico Home Smart tried to charge $216.37 on my debit card, for services that I did not ordered. Thankfully, my bank saw this as a fraud charge and did not pay it.
Junk
Junk. Among many other issues (the app is atrocious), it is next to impossible to set up sharing. It denies good credit cards. On one attempt to set up sharing with my wife it did accept a card and then my bank contacted us to report fraud (we were charged by some place called "Sportsbowl" - and sharing is supposedly free in any case). This will probably end up in the trash.
This now has been trashed. Their Customer Service Department was unresponsive. STAY AWAY from VicoHome if you are installing a camera bird feeder. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had online - and judging from other comments I am far from alone.

Battery failed on my outdoor solar camera. Vico doesn't even carry replacement batteries. That means it is just a worthless piece of junk. All they could say is I'm sorry. $70 camera to the trash.
Lags and pay per camera
I have a lot of missed activity. The cameras lag bad. Plus you pay $4.99 a month for cloud storage, but that is only for one camera. The more cameras you have, the more you are going to pay.

Camera did not work. App is confusing. Canceled script 2 weeks into trial via the app on chat (because there's no phone number to call). Then 2 weeks later my bank account is charged for a full YEAR of service! I had already Uninstaller app. Had to install again just to go through the cancelation process again. For 3 months I've been attempting to get the camera (given to me on Christmas, 2024) fixed. It will not charge. Customer service (?) and I just keep going in circles. The camera will not charge. Other than that it seems to be working. But for how long? These reviews resemble my experience.

I purchased two cameras in January of 2025 and purchased a Vicohome monitoring year long subscription. By May, one camera wasn't working. When I asked for Vicohome's help, I was told to "rebind" them. I did what they said. The inoperative camera still did not work and then both cameras were no longer attached to the subscription. I tried for weeks to get help or a refund but was absolutely ghosted by Vicohome's customer service. I am very disappointed in Vicohome's not standing behind their product.
