The chair was well packaged, had very clear instructions, and was easy to put together. They even suggested keeping the provided tightening wrench near the chair for the first two months for necessary tightening and adjustments, which was helpful, since I use this chair every single day! I love that I get to spend the time at my computet with my core engaged and my hips and back aligned in a much more comfortable angle than a normal chair! Why aren't these the standard chair in the world! I am a 5'3" woman, and I can use it very comfortably (after figuring out where to put my feet, since the pictures show regular-sized adult men). I am considering getting more of this kind of chair for other places in my home and office!

Putting the Vilno together was so easy. The materials are good quality, it is lightweight and is so comfy to sit on! I am a hospice triage nurse and am on the computer for long periods of time. I know my back will feel better and there is no pressure on my knees!

It is a comfortable chair that helps with my posture. I like being able to rock on the chair. I can even sit cross-legged. It is really a versatile chair.

This chair is very comfortable and I like that I can sit cross legged, with one or two feet down that I can rock and also sit the traditional way with knees on kneeling pad.

I backed the chair on the Kickstarter, and while it took a long time to arrive, I’ve been enjoying it since setting it up. So far, I have been using it at my desk for nearly a month now. It was mostly easy to assemble with the provided tools and using the included paper instructions, with the only difficulties coming from possibly needing a third hand to hold pieces in place while I aligned the screws. The seat was the most difficult part to line up and took multiple attempts to align with both pegs - I felt like the pegs were either slightly too close to each other or slightly too far apart, and it was a challenge to get both seated at the same time, especially with the fabric on the underside of the seat getting in the way.

I feel like my back has felt much better overall since using the chair, and I frequently rock back and forth as I use it for extended periods. I appreciate the included felt pads for the runners, so as to avoid scratching up wooden floors, and making it quieter on the floor. During the first few days, my shins hurt a lot while using the knee pads, but I discovered that by sitting up further on the seat, I lessened the pressure on my shins and knees, and I don’t have an issue with it now. The interesting bumpy texture of the foam seat can feel strange to me after sitting for long sessions of over eight hours.

I occasionally rock the chair onto my toes by accident; my toes can slip underneath the frontmost support that connects the two runners together if I rock back far enough. I’m gradually learning to keep them away from those spots! If a newer version comes out, it’d be nice if that support was positioned up above the floor.

I do have a few concerns about the strength of the chair as I wiggle from side to side or need to lean over to pick something up off the floor. Sometimes there is more flexing than I’d like. I’ve tightened the screws as they’ve loosened up to mitigate this, which has helped a lot, but I’ve heard some concerning cracking sounds from the wood when I do so. I’ve also damaged the hex sockets on a few of the screws as the Allen key slipped out of the socket while I was tightening them. I can still tighten them if I’m careful, but I worry that more accidental damage will come if I have to tighten them more in the future, and eventually the socket may become unusable. Hopefully, I won’t have to tighten the screws too many more times. Only one spare of each screw and peg was included, so I have no way to replace multiple parts.

I would definitely recommend this chair to others. It’s not perfect, but I’ve grown to really like it in a short time.

The chair is comfortable. I have had sciatic pain and hope this chair helps with that. Assembly took some work. The written instructions were not as helpful as the video and the video was hilarious (with frequent references to variations of the phrase "screwing things up." You have to admire the two brothers that started this business. I actually found it very endearing. I like that the company is US based. We'll see how the product holds up over time. The Ukrainian accent in the video added a lot of charm.

This chair is very comfortable and promotes good posture. I just received in Friday and have really enjoyed thus far.

Very nice chair, great for ergonomics. I’m used to assembling furniture so it was no problem. The instructions refer to labels but there were no labels on the pieces. The video online is much easier than the paper instructions. I love an owner who puts his name and face on a product (figuratively, not literally).

People calling this a scam cause they did not get their chair fast enough through kickstarter just dont understand how kickstarter even works. This company is not a scam. The chair exists and I'm literally writing this review while sitting in the chair. They provided the exact product they claimed they would while providing regular updates (literally there was a new one the day before the recent "scam" review). I genuinely love this chair and it I got it. Sometimes it takes a little longer than planned to produce and distribute an entirely new product/form factor. That doesn't make this entire company a scam- it makes people with no patience show their low integrity off with their whole chest by calling a company a scam when its blatantly not, even slightly. Grow up. Thanks for the incredible office chair.

(edited: eventually got the chair, updated to 3 stars) This company is a scam, they stated they would ship chairs from Kickstarter in June, but it is now December and did not receive anything, while being assured 94% backers have it (except Canada). Well, I'm in the EU, have not had any communication that it might be on its way and they said today orders will ship in January?! This is not consistent at all. Do not buy from this company. They are selling chairs on theirs website with a few days delivery, meanwhile backers have not received chairs for 6 months+ (this is just if we calculate from when they said they will ship)! Very unreliable, regret giving them my money.

It was easy to assemble and glad all the parts and tool came with it. I’ve used it a few times and it doesn’t seem very sturdy. I 200 lbs. well within the limit and it seems to wiggle. I hope in a few weeks to up grade my review.

I backed the Nobel 2.0 on Kickstarter in April —two chairs — with great excitement to receive these in June. After months of extending the delivery timeframe due to “quality issues” and “wanting to ensure the best product” it is now December…and I am still waiting. The company stated in mid-November that the chairs would be out for delivery in the US within 10-14 days. Then, 13 days later, the company provided another update stating the chairs would be delivered in the US within 10-15 days this time. So basically they keep extending the timeframe more and more, all the while encouraging backers to look into a new product they support on Kickstarter. *snort* Not likely! I’ve sent three emails to the company, I’ve gotten ONE response, and the response did not even answer my question, it just made a vague reference to an even MORE extended wait for delivery into January. Buyer beware, this company does not have it together at all. I’m just hoping at this point that I receive this product eventually…

It took a minute to adjust my muscle memory to this new way of sitting. But I love the way my body feels now. 8 hours is a long time to sit in any chair. I do need to change positions and stay conscious about not slumping forward. Overall, my posture has improved greatly.

After using vilno chair for a full 8- hour workday, the difference was clear. no shoulder or neck pain, and I didn’t feel slouched over like before.
