Really strong network of professionals. The highest calibre I have encountered for sure!

I have mad the pleasure of speaking with Michael Wain a number of times now.
The conversations are always extremely productive and the feedback is not only quick but gives practical advice.
It is cleat Michael knows this area well and is not afraid of holding back his thoughts or views, however, it works!

I was with VNXD for a year. The service is reasonably good, but honestly I think that for most people (board placements) they'll get very limited value. They do try and upsell quite a bit.

It's early days on the platform for me, but so far I've been given excellent guidance by my point person Millie Egan and Neil Wright has done an amazing job knocking my CV into shape and into the right format. I've now signed up to a couple of events so I am expecting the journey to continue to be positive.

I have had a very positive experience with VirtualNonExecs so far. The platform is well designed and the team, especially Millie, have been supportive, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping members make the most of it.

I think it would be useful to have a bit more visibility into the support available after you apply for roles. Even a short update or guidance step could make the process feel more joined up.

Initially, sales team was quite pushy to get a meeting, and follow-up/close-out. After sharing my concerns that I have previously signed up and paid for similar services only to be left without any value I was promptly promised hand-on engagement, and that my experience with their service would not be the same.

I asked them to commit to this via email, before paying the R15k over for the 1-year subscription. Immediately after they received my money the wheels started to come off.

Took weeks to get a meeting scheduled with my account manager, and a month to get access to the platform.

I actively partook in their networking events, "exclusive opportunities" and other engagement formats. Honetly, every single last minute spent ended up being wasted effort.

I continuously flagged this with them, and referred back to the promises which were made in writing before I onboarded, only to be ghosted by my account manager for 3 months.

MANY months in, I eventually get a mail from a new account manager, to which I raised my same issues of lack of value and failed promises. I was again promised that they would make good on their promises, only to see the same outcome yet again.

More ghosting, more inability to get a meeting booked, more of the same empty promises.

Communication was at a complete breakdown until my subscription was up for renewal. All of the suddent communication was good again, despite me raising issues again.

All in all, a complete waste of money. I would not recommend them whatsoever.

I signed up to Virtual Non Execs after leaving my last full time operating role. Quite quickly, I secured a well suited and well paying advisory role. The team at VNE were helpful in guiding me through the process and it’s a great outcome that has more than repaid the costs involved with being a member. Highly recommend!

Not having had to look at my CV for many, many years, Virtualnonexecs offered the opportunity to have Neil Wright review and amend it. Thank goodness I accepted! I just listed everything I'd done whereas Neil took time to ask me lots of questions and see my experience and skill sets from a different perspective.
