Researched quite some providers and ended up with visas.pt after finding the owner through facebook. Always gives a bit more comfort with a face behind the company. Service provided has been excellent. Document uploads straightforwarded and well guided, a verification videocall and had the NIF an hour later in the mailbox. Def recommend them and now also requested it for the rest of the family

I highly recommend Visas.pt to anyone considering a Portuguese move. I can tell you all the great ways Scott, Janeide, & Jessica have assisted us but let me first start with how we realized their value: My husband started working on D8 Nomad Visa requirements Winter of 2025 and found the paperwork and rules very difficult. He then enlisted a Lisbon attorney specializing in Visa policy to assist with obtaining the appointment in Washington DC and ensuring our paperwork was aligned with law. That was a total waste of money & time. After going MIA, someone finally answered our desperate email to tell us the initial consultant had left the firm without notifying us. My husband figured out from a FB group that we could book an appointment in Miami since there were no DC appointments to be found..so he is the one who secured our Visa appointment. Then, it became a part time job to try to get a meeting set up so we could share our status and be certain everything was in order. The new lawyer communicated abruptly, showed up late and unprepared for meetings, and nearly sabotaged our application b/c our insurance date was not lined up with date of arrival—wasn’t that the exact type of information we were paying for? Luckily, our application was approved and we never heard from the firm again-not even to learn if we were successful. Not even to upsell us by offering “expertise” for the residency appt. We searched for competent representation and found Visas.pt and my husband had a great call with the owner, Scott. Not only did our advisor, Jessica, answer our individualized questions about the visa and our family situation completely, she mentioned an array of helpful services we assumed we would not need. And then we did need their help! We retained them to successfully secure long-term Lisbon housing and were assigned the very helpful agent, Janeide without any delays. She stayed on top of the searches, incorporated our individual preferences, WhatsApp-ed after hours and managed the lease negotiations with the Portuguese realtor & French landlord so we felt confident knowing our arrangement met the visa guidelines. We are so happy with our apartment and love our wonderful neighborhood. Just this morning, we requested consultation because the bank account set up by earlier firm is not being managed appropriately (shocker) and we need help possibly switching banks or at least branches but are concerned about jeopardizing our future AIMA appointment. We already have the Visas.pt consult appointment scheduled in 2 business days while we wait for our banker to provide a time she can meet us (what are we paying these fees for??) Visas.pt has been the right choice for us and perhaps we appreciate them so much because we experienced the alternative? The process is already quite a headache-make it easier on yourself and choose a vendor that will actually ease your workload & anxiety!
