IVA has completely changed my life as a singer and singing teacher. Taking the leap and applying to the accredited program is one of the best things I’ve done for myself and education.

My voice has been incredibly improving throught these five months of training with a certified IVA teacher. Couldn't be happier and more grateful.

IVA has made me the teacher I am today. In my experience, IVA is the most comprehensive contemporary voice teacher training program out there. The master teachers and the board of directors are fantastic and truly care about your success as a teacher. The education is incredibly solid, and they are always refining it, so they are on the cutting edge of vocal pedagogy. On top of their first-rate education, my favorite part is the amazing community of voice teachers from all over the world supporting and learning from each other. Very grateful I found IVA, and I highly recommend it.

I joined IVA as a brand new teacher without any experience, and during the last decade as a teacher with IVA, I have not only grown as a teacher but as a person, too. My social and colleague circles have widened right across the world and I love the supportive nature of the community. If you want top class vocal education AND a network of teachers, colleagues and friends you can rely on, IVA is for you!

As a Level III Instructor in IVA, joining the program has changed my life ever since. Not only that I receive the education of the world's best, but also a community of great teachers from all over the world. Being in such a group of professionals makes you feel supported in your career wherever you are in the world, and the benefits continue to grow.

IVA is a fantastic resource for vocal teachers and performance coaches. The master teachers and mentors are excellent coaches and there are significant online educational materials that lay out the pedagogy structure. Personally I like their goal to be agnostic and cause and effect in their approach to vocal technique, that I can bring any other tools I wish to my teaching practice without fearing that I'm not 'in line' with the teaching organization. As long as I use the touchstone tools that are helpful, and adhere to the principles of doing no harm, and cause and effect in the voice, I'm in good standing and have a wealth of tools available to me. The comradery and networking between teachers may even be my favorite part of being a teacher in this organization.

I had wanted to find an organisation to help me transition from a 'performance singing teacher' to a professional authentic 'singing teacher'. The IVA support you every step of the way with an excellent teacher training program. As a Certified IVA Instructor, I can now teach my students to sing in a way that they never thought possible, accessing their ranges in a more healthy balanced way. The IVA Team are there to help you 100% on your teacher training journey. I'm so pleased I found the IVA, I now have full trust in how I teach my singing students.

I.V.A is the best program for singers and teachers. Coming from a fairly extensive singing background I.V.A has taken my teaching ability as well as my singing and upped it further than I thought was possible after having the former training I have had! I could not recommend this program more, if I could give it a 500/10 I would!

I have been trained and communicate with voice teachers all around the world through IVA. The education for teachers are well organized and really helpful on my teaching career. The great benefit of joining IVA is you will not only learn about teaching but also develop as a musician as well. I highly recommend to those who wants to be a better teacher to join IVA :)

I have been part of the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) community for years, and I feel like there's no other community like it. I love that we have opportunities to learn so much - there's something going on for us to be part of at least weekly, and it is always valuable information. I wouldn't be the effective teacher I am today without the experience I have gained by being part of the IVA community. To top it off, everyone is so kind and inclusive, I am convinced there isn't a better group of people like this anywhere else. Another thing I appreciate is their commitment to always do and be better, and to remain current and help us teacher's along the way.

IVA is a truly unique and amazing certification program for voice teachers and I am so grateful to have found them. I have been learning and teaching the IVA method for coming on 7 years and see incredible results in the voices of my students. I have also seen two of my students go on and become IVA teachers themselves, which has been deeply rewarding for me.
