I found Voixcall after a web search for…

I found Voixcall after a web search for a web browser based VOIP that call a mobile in Europe. They offered one free test call. I entered the number, and only then was I prompted to establish an account, which I did. Tried the free call a second time, and told that the "free" call was limited to only a few countries, mine not included. Went to buy 5 dollars worth of credits, and on checkout was prompted to enter a cell phone number. I don't have my European cell phone here in the US. I gave up...this is a scam

To clarify, the free calling feature is only available in specific supported countries, and your country is currently not included in that list. This limitation is clearly outlined in our service terms and availability information.

Regarding the phone number requirement, phone numbers are commonly requested by banks and payment providers to verify and authorize card transactions. This is a standard banking security measure and is not unique to our service.

We understand that you may be frustrated, but we encourage reviews to reflect actual use of the service and its features. If you no longer wish to use your account, we can assist you with account deletion upon request.

Simple and easy to make browser calls

I found this platform via reddit r/SAAS and I am using the product for the past 3 months now.
Pros : calls are cheap and I use them regularly for my education consulting business.

Cons : would be nice if they had a mobile app but the website itself functions fine in the mobile browser too so can't complain much.

Use this to call my grandpa as he does…

Use this to call my grandpa as he does not use smartphone and only uses dialedpad phone. Very useful for me to keep in touch with my grandpa.
