Volcanica Coffee is a specialty retailer of exotic coffee committed to offering only the finest quality from volcanic regions worldwide that are wonderfully exotic. The mineral-rich soil from these areas produces coffee that are aromatic and remarkable in taste. We carry over 150 different coffees, including single-origin, estate, organic, peaberry, decaf and flavored coffees. Coffee has been in our family blood for at least two generations when our mother and grandfather would assist in harvesting the coffee beans in the high mountains of Costa Rica. Volcanica Coffee is a family-owned business with all members involved in running the specialty coffee brand importing the highest quality beans from around the world. The coffee plant utilizes the latest in roasting technology with computer automation for consistent roasting and reduced emissions to help preserve the environment. We fresh roast weekly in our state-of-the-art roasting facility in Atlanta. Our experienced roast masters understand the nuances and delicacies involved in roasting different varieties. We work directly with coffee farms and local cooperatives and travel to the remote coffee farms to source the best of the best and ensure top quality. All of our coffees are Certified Kosher by the Atlanta Kosher Commission. We donate 1% of our retail website sales to charity: water. charity: water is on a mission to help bring clean, safe drinking water to every single person on the planet.

Too Acidic and Dry

Coffee Beans were Too Dry and ALL TYPES are TOO ACIDIC! Even with proper individual grinding! And, the Delivery Time from Georgia to California after ordering is too LONG.
So? Just how long do the Coffee Beans SIT in Storage there in Georgia and prior from Central America too?
For the Price it needs to be QUALITY IMPROVED!

Great product along with great service!

I have been ordering from Volcanica for almost 4 years, either directly or with various subscriptions, and have always been satisfied. The shipping times consistently average 3-4 days from the order date, and once received, the roast date has averaged 6 days before receipt, so the coffee has always been fresh.

I recently experienced a lost shipment, and when I contacted Volcanica, they immediately sent a free replacement.

I really like that Volcanica sends 16oz bags vs 12 or 10 that I see most other companies send. Great value for my money.

I love the coffee, not the packaging

I love the coffee! It really is the best low acid coffee I’ve tried. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the packaging. It’s difficult to scoop the coffee out of the package, particularly if you’re on the second half. A recent change has made the package slightly better. But it didn’t solve the issue. The issue is the little pleats at the top. They prevent the package from opening to a square shape. The opening remains too small.

Why I ended my subscription.

I did not like the Sumatra Mandheling coffee. I used my Chemex and no matter how I tweaked it the flavor was unsatisfying. I cancelled my subscription.
It would be helpful if I could sample many of the coffees for little or no cost once I had a subscription.
