Classes were cancelled for months - very disruptive to our routine and time

Great instructors and great customer service

Great teaching instructor, great to find a Saturday class and very convenient location. But didn’t like their payment system of paying a month upfront. We couldn’t attend many lessons as daughter got ill but there is no way to pause subscription/cancel sessions sooner. So ended up being quite expensive.

The classes themselves are fine - lots of repetitive dances and songs to help baby get accustomed to water. From the first class, they have your baby go underwater which is both very cool and terrifying.

Where they lose points is if you ever miss a class - they provide a credit for a makeup class in addition to your weekly class but have incredibly limited options for the makeup classes (we would’ve had to travel over an hour for a 30 min class). There’s also no option for a refund or using the credit to cover future classes.

Also be warned that if you decide to quit you must do so a month in advance as they take the money immediately at the beginning of the month and won’t refund you under any circumstance.

For what it is, fine. Being a bit expensive and unyielding on the admin side is what ultimately led us to leave for another swim school.

Water babies is amazing! The lessons are not only fun but after one term I have seen huge improvements in my son’s confidence and skill in the water. Some will say what is the point in taking babies swimming at 12 weeks old, I disagree my son is now 6 month old, knows to hold on to the side of the pool when we swim up to it, swims upwards to the surface when pulled under the water and let go, can hold his breath underwater for three seconds and is not bothered by going under. He is also starting to kick his leg when held in a front craw and back stroke position.

The facilities are great and the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Lisa is a great instructor and I trust her with my son’s safety in the water. I’m so glad I found water babies as it’s made my weeks on maternity leave so much fun plus we get so much out of it. Also through the classes I’ve made some mum friends which is a huge bonus getting to know like minded mums! I can’t wait to take him on holiday now with his new skills and love for the pool, highly recommend!!

This is the second time I’ve used Water Babies. They use lots of songs to engage the little ones while teaching key water safety skills and confidence.

Teachers are really supportive. Lots of fun games, length of the lesson feels right. They have some songs which makes the lessons feel age appropriate. My son is a little nervous in the water and they're always great with him.
