Fantastic Underwater Photoshoot, completed in Ardoe Aberdeen. We have took part in the last 3 years and its great to see the progress.

Thoroughly enjoyable swimming lessons, for both adult and Child. Very insightful and confidence building.

My granddaughter has been swimming with water babies for over 3 years now and I have been fortunate enough to take her to quite a few of her lessons recently and I can honestly say they are fabulous. The teacher, Sarah, has the patience of a saint and makes every single lesson fun which is exactly how a 3/4 year old learns best. Sarah is always cheery and very helpful with lots of praise to build confidence but also has a wonderful manner when helping the children develop their skills.
The lessons are not cheap but they are worth every penny to see the children confidently swim independently at such a young age.
I would 100% recommend water babies to anyone looking for a fun lesson while giving children the confidence to stay safe in water and have fun.

I do lessons with my son in Dundee at Harestane. We’ve been doing lessons since he was 4 months old, he is now 1 and I’ve seen so much progression. It’s amazing to see him learn every week and they’re learning real swimming and safety skills that make me feel more confident about having him in/around water in day to day life. It’s also been amazing 1:1 time for us both! No matter what mood my boy is in, he’s always happy in the pool!
The teachers at Harestane are absolutely brilliant and it’s very clear how passionate they are about teaching our kids! Shout out to Jen who has been our teacher since the beginning, the way she engages with our babies is so special!

Lessons are well paced and staff are lovely.

Water safety and swimming skills have always been a top priority for me as a parent. That’s why I chose Water Babies Scotland North East for both of my children—and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
With my first child, the experience was so positive and rewarding that I didn’t hesitate to enrol my second. Watching my now 2-year-old grow from a tiny 6-month-old into a confident, capable little swimmer has been incredible. The progress in their water safety awareness, core skills, and actual swimming ability is remarkable.
The classes are thoughtfully structured around repetition, which really helps young children learn effectively. They weave in playful games, quirky songs, and lots of fun, turning every session into something the kids genuinely look forward to. Small class sizes create a warm, intimate atmosphere—allowing strong bonds to form with the teachers, while parents get to know each other and the other children too.
The teachers are outstanding: friendly, highly knowledgeable, and wonderfully reassuring. They guide you calmly through each new skill and developmental step. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the same exceptional teacher for both my children—she’s been absolutely fantastic and has made such a difference. Both my kids adore her!
Yes, there are more budget-friendly alternatives, but having seen first-hand how effective the Water Babies programme is - how much my first child has advanced and how much both children truly enjoy the safe, nurturing environment—I know it’s worth every penny. The real results in confidence, safety, and joy in the water speak for themselves.
That’s exactly why I started my second child at just 3 months old. If you’re looking for a programme that prioritises both fun and genuine water safety skills from the earliest age, I highly recommend Water Babies Scotland North East. My family loves it!

Our daughter has grown so much in her confidence around water since starting Water Babies. Swimming is a life long skill and it’s been so incredible to be able to start taking her to lessons before she even turned 1. We would highly recommend this company to anyone with young babies!

The instructor and class structure so far have both been brilliant.
You can feel the passion come through in each lesson.
My little one is thoroughly enjoying being a water baby! We started at 3 months and were the youngest in the class however adaptions were made and we're now thriving in the water.

We attend schivas house On a Sunday and always have a great experience my little boy is so confident in the pool and he loves splashing about. Our teacher Anna is so friendly and welcoming we couldn’t recommend enough!

Great teachers; they are friendly, welcoming, supportive, encouraging and able to give lots of advice. They work to the pace of the children in the pool; encouraging them and pausing where necessary.

Very accommodating staff to help with swapping lessons to fit in with other commitments.

I love how every child is treated as an individual and the needs are met, our instructor is amazing for guiding us through each thing and specifying it for each child's individual need.

I am very satisfied with the lessons, the teacher is simply wonderful, although my boy is sometimes not in a good mood, but I see the result of our lessons. Special thanks to the teacher, who is always very friendly, cheerful and tries 100%. I would only like to improve the lessons to catch up, often there are no lessons nearby available for using tokens.

We love water babies, Sarah is an excellent teacher, the class sizes and nice and small and the babies get to learn and build their water confidence so well.

I can’t thank Water Babies enough for the confidence they are helping me instil in my baby. The classes are so enjoyable and informative. It’s our favourite class that we so look forward to each week.

I’ve attended 3 different classes and each of the instructors were lovely, cheery and so informative - explaining why we were doing each action and what the baby was benefiting from it.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun way to teach your child about being safe in water.

Excellent class. We’ve been attending for about 18months now and love it. Great for building my confidence as well as little ones. Rory’s so confident now and really enjoys his classes. His favourite part is ‘move along to safety’ and is always happy to demonstrate this when in different pools.
