Back in late July, I had gone on several websites to get an idea of what I might be able to sell my 2011 Kia Sorento for. I wasn't ready to sell my car until last Saturday, Sept. 16th, and unfortunately a major problem had just occurred with my car two weeks prior...the air conditioning was no longer blowing cold air. I feared the worst, and an auto repair shop confirmed the worst, that I needed a new air compressor and the entire job would cost $900. I updated my car information on four different car-selling websites to reflect the fact that my car now had this major problem, knowing full well that I was going to get a lot less for the car now, but as the saying goes: "it is what it is". We Buy Any Car gave me the best revised offer when I updated my car's information on their website, so I set up an appointment with the Doylestown branch manager Giovanni for the following day. Giovanni is a very personable and likable young man, and was very professional in how he conducted the car sales transaction with me and my wife. After he had thoroughly checked out our car, he had to break the news to us that he would now have to offer us several hundred dollars less than what we had hoped to receive, and this was due almost entirely to the nonfunctional air conditioning. When we balked at that offer price, Giovanni asked how much we wanted to receive in order to sell our car, and after we told him our number, we discussed why we felt our car was worth that figure, despite the broken air conditioning system. Giovanni listened and negotiated with us in good faith, and sent an email to someone in his company, and in a matter of minutes he had received an approval to increase his offer to us, to within $150 of what our best case scenario price offer would have been. My wife and I are very happy with what we were able to achieve with Giovanni's help, especially given the fact that our car had 181,000 miles on it and was close to 13 years old. We are this car's original owners and we always paid for every suggested maintenance/repair item when we took it to our Kia dealership for all maintenance and repairs since we bought it in December 2010. On Monday September 18th, I went to my bank and deposited the check that Giovanni had given us, and that check had fully cleared by the following day. I am 64 years old and this was the first time I had ever sold a car in this way, and I am happy to report that I would recommend my friends and family members to Giovanni at We Buy Any Car if they need to sell a car.

Very Personable, reasonable to work with and pleasant

I just want to say how impressed I was with the Doylestown branch manager Gio. He was very thorough with his inspection of my car and very fair with assessment and offer. Gio has an incredible work ethic and desire for his branch to be the best. He was very friendly and outgoing and I will recommend him to all my friends. I could not believe how well he ran the business, especially when I found out how young he was. It was great to see such a young person with such drive and pride in his work. You are very lucky to have him.

Gio was very nice, personable and respectful. Honestly, the only reason I did not give a 5 start, is I feel I left money on the table.

There were some communication issues (because one Branch Manager made the appointment but quit/got fired and a new one was there for the appointment). This may have caused some of the problems/confusion on both sides, but I do feel I should have walked away with $250 - $500 more. Will I use this service again?? I'm not so sure...
