First, you need to get the vehicle to them. So unless it’s running ok, you better have roadside or AAA, or need to dish out towing fee. I was fortunate to have one so was able to get the car there.
You are given a “quote” on what you think you will receive for your vehicle, but assume it will be a fraction of it. After mulling over every slight imperfection and smudge, you will end up with a really bad deal. Then you get charged the “document fee”! In the end, I would have preferred to donate my car rather than do that again.
Unfortunately, I was stuck, and having to arrange another tow, waste more time and money, I did the deal. One of the rims on my car is worth 2x what I was eventually paid. Staff was very nice and polite, but definitely a predatory company! Again, I was not forced to do this deal, but circumstances prevailed.
As stated in the title…only use as a LAST resort! Do some shopping and call a few other places before doing business with these folks. Not a disgruntled customer, but trying to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. Unfortunately cannot post photos to show you what I received $101.00 for. Hope the next person has better luck by going somewhere else!

As stated, I was not forced to make this deal but would have lost even more money had I done something else at that point. As to the car being “inoperable”, it was brought over from a local Firestone auto center, where they had made repairs (can’t post photos of invoice). I didn’t have a means to drive over since I was alone driving another vehicle, so it was towed. It needed a jump, which I offered to do, but was told by the staff that they only needed enough power to read the odometer. A picture is worth a thousand words, but unfortunately it is not possible to add photos. That way readers could see the car and know exactly what I am saying here.
In fairness, someone tried to contact me regarding this, so I will be calling to have that conversation. I will again say, shop around or consider donating your vehicle before deciding on this option.

The only problem I had was not done on purpose. Jeff was very nice and professional and informative about the process but not doing a wire transfer. I thank God for Andrew because he got everything Worked out the same day.
