Required repair of underground copper piping to toilet cistern, due broken existing pipe at below-floor level of tiles. A messy job, in a cramped workspace. Chris and Hayden arrived (was advised they would call 20 mins before arrival, however this did not occur - no drama, though, as I am retired) - Chris explained work to be conducted (removal of concrete and tiles in area, pipe replacement, new connection to cistern, pressure test etc), and presented quote. I nearly fell over when I saw the cost - $4637.60! I haven't had work done by plumbers for years, so maybe I'm not up to speed with current rates, but the quote seemed very expensive - still, the job had to be performed, and I wasn't going to quibble. Signed the quote and they commenced work. Both tradesmen were there for an hour so, then Daniel arrived and Chris and Hayden departed. Daniel removed tiles and concrete, replaced pipe and connected everything up to the toilet cistern. All good. He cleaned up the area satisfactorily and removed the broken tiles etc. I can't fault their work - nice, pleasant chaps who explained everything beforehand, and worked efficiently - about 4 hours all told to complete the job. Not sure how they calculated the quote, as it was apparently done by the office staff and sent back to Chris for my approval. Overall, very good service, with no hiccups. We didn't bother with any other quotes, based on the urgency of the matter, and the reviews on Facebook etc. Should I have obtained another quote before authorizing work? Maybe, but as previously noted, the repairs were needed ASAP, and although I was under no obligation to sign, I felt the professionalism and attitude of the tradesmen was very good, and based on that, elected to go ahead.

Had a great experience with Weekend Plumbing Co. Hayden was punctual, professional and easy to deal with from start to finish. He explained the issue clearly, gave an upfront price before starting, and got the job sorted without any mess left behind. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

Had a sewer line blockage - Tom was quick to diagnose the problem which was earthern pipes that had suffered misalignment at a join. The sewer line was rerouted with PVC & rejoined. Josie was great and organised work changes to suit our timetable. Tom & Dan's approach totally professional - they are very good at what they do. Good cleanup after work completed.

Needed taps fixed and an airlock sorted. Requested job through text, call back within 24hrs, service provided within my availability. Josie was fantastic on the phone organising a time that suited me. Daniel was quick to fix the problem and replace taps, talked through issue, cause and solution, showed me how it all worked, discussed warranties and any concerns. Costing was standard and invoice was precise in breaking down expenses. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a plumbing service.

Geordie came out to quote on a small Reno of my new place. Geordie was on time, I explained my timeline and tight budget. He was able to do the urgent item on the spot so my painter could finish off the laundry. He provided suggestions on areas to save costs on labour for the remaining project works, He didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary works like a competitor. Thanks for being flexible and reasonably priced. I felt comfortable enough to head to work whilst he completed the work, he sent me a text message of photos of the neat job before he left to confirm I was satisfied with the job. Geordie was great to deal with! He arrived when he said would. Inspected the work, provided 2 quotes so i had a options to pick from. Started the job and completed it that day. Made sure i was happy with everything before leave. Will happily use Geordie as my plumber from now on.
