I did the welcome to Melbourne intro tour and it helped me a lot to start up my journey here in Australia. I recommend to anyone if you wish to work here but you're not sure on how to do it. Not to forget I had an amazing and very experienced tour guid who helped me true the entire week with all my questions I had and setup. Thank you so much Welcome to Travel !!

Welcome to Melbourne!

Tyna is bloody fabulous!!! What an incredible tour from start to finish. I'm feeling quite emotional as I write this. I come from a small town back in the UK and I have dreamed of coming to Australia since I was 14. Tyna made this week unforgettable and beyond incredible with all of the experiences. Everything was so well put together... from seeing the beautiful penguin parade to feeding wallabies at the animal sanctuary. Wine tasting was a very good experience too I can still taste the tingling notes of pinot grigio on my taste buds. The night of eating dumplings in China Town was fabulous too. I nearly turned into a giant dumpling hehe.

Just an amazing tour with lovely people topped off by a night on the town bar crawl on the final night we really did paint the town red! Shake what ya mother gave yaaaa!!! I really had an amazing adventure. I cannot wait to explore the rest of Australia xxxx Thank you Welcome to Travel also for the one to one yesterday it really reassured me that Welcome to Travel are with you for the whole 12 months as support so I feel very reassured. Looking forward to embarking on the east coast tour in September

Used Welcome to travel to build my own tour for a 2 week tour of the east coast of aus. Manage to fit so much in with great tours, booked good hostels, always replied quickly if I needed to check anything. Would highly recommend, however maybe a bit more expensive than if you were to book yourself but they make it so easy and stress free so it’s worth it!

Poor communication, no accountability. I sent 15+ emails and made 18 calls to get basic info on my disrupted tour. I was only offered help once it was too late to act on it. They refused a refund, even though the issue was caused by their own lack of communication. Stressful and disappointing. Book elsewhere.

THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME TIME! This company become the blue print to the best months of my three years in Australia. The Sydney team especially Ciara provided a word class service that was out of this world and organised the trip of all trips for me up the east coast. Without welcome to travel my ozzy experience would have been so different. Memories, friends and bucket list activities all coordinated for you.

I can not fault Welcome to Travel, from the start to the finish they have been amazing and are so organised. I did the welcome to Sydney tour which was amazing and then onto the Blue Mountain tour. I can not recommend them enough. Do not hesitate to book with them, every email was answer straight await when enquiring with them, I was recommended them by a friend that had also used them. First class service all round.

Welcome To Travel helped me organise the most amazing East Coast trip. I was so nervous about coming to Australia and planning my trip, but they made the process so easy and were so reassuring. I told them what kind of activities I was interested in and some of the places I wanted to visit and they put together an itinerary that exceeded my expectations with activities that I'd never even considered! It was so much fun and has really encouraged me to continue my travels around Australia. I cannot recommend them enough, due to their constant support throughout my travels.

I had an incredible experience on the East Coast tour. It’s such a jam-packed itinerary, and I feel like I ticked off so much from my Aussie bucket list.

I left the UK with no idea what I would be doing for the next month, except for the tour I had booked. When I arrived in Sydney, everything was planned out for me. After 30 days, I had made amazing friends, created unforgettable memories, and felt incredibly relaxed and stress-free along the way. There was no need to worry about booking buses or hostels because everything was taken care of.

Since then, I’ve also done the Welcome to Melbourne and Welcome to Sydney tours, which I highly recommend, especially if you’re planning a Working Holiday Visa. These tours were honestly so helpful, and I have so much appreciation for both cities after experiencing them through these tours!!

It’s now been six months since I arrived in Australia, and honestly, I don’t know where I’d be without WTT.

I had such a positive experience with the team and management of Welcome to Travel. They really listened to my trip requests and created such an incredible trip for me up the coast and were so helpful along the way with giving advice and recommendations. They were super quick to help out whenever I had any issues and were very professional. Such friendly staff and I really think this trip has helped me make friends for life!! Ideal for a solo traveller to take all of the stress away from the complex planning :)

They listened to my requests and designed my east coast trip exactly the way i wanted it. Its good to have someone with knowledge to help you fund the right hostels fitting to your interests.

Got the East Coast booked and they got paid. Certainly didn't get what I ordered. Very poor administration between the company and the hotels as we weren't booked into one place. Not booked onto a coach in another place and had to find my own way there by my self. No instructions regarding making our own way to one of the day trips which we all missed. Poor transport drips coming through the roof etc. No back up from the company at all as any insurance claims you have to sort yourself. Save your money and book the stuff yourself, save the heartache. There were some good bits but the overall bad experiences overshadowed everything.

I've just finished my custom made East Coast trip put together by Welcome To Travel and honestly couldn't have had a better time. From my first enquiry, the team were so helpful, listening to my specific requests and tailoring the trip to exactly what I wanted. We had regular phone calls which by the time it came to my trip, made me feel like i'd already made some friends over in Australia.

When I arrived and began the trip, the team were on hand whenever I needed anything, even checking in regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly. I needed to make a few changes during the trip and this was never an issue.

I was nervous to travel alone but I'm so glad I did as I've made so many new friends and memories that will last a life time. Thank you SO much guys.

I chose to go with WelcomeToTravel to book my custom East Coast tour to make the process easier for me. I got great service before booking the tour. However, after booking and during the tour I was extremely disappointed with the service. Replies were extremely slow and the company weren’t helpful at all when I wanted to make changes to my itinerary. It took lots of back and forth emails and overall way more hassle than if I booked everything myself. Don’t recommend booking their custom tour at all.

I recently took the East Coast Tour with Welcome to Travel, and while the places visited were nice, the overall experience fell short of the company’s claims. The tour is marketed as "semi-guided," but in reality, only three days of the trip involved actual guidance. The rest of the time was self-guided, which is a big contrast to the premium price charged. Self-guided tours are usually half the price, so I found it hard to justify the cost for something that was far less than expected.

The company also promotes staying at the "best hostels" on the east coast, but the accommodations were far from impressive. The hostels were basic, with questionable cleanliness and amenities that didn’t match the hype. It's clear that the company overstated the quality to attract travelers looking for more comfort.

I was also disappointed by the lack of logistical support. The tour was supposed to handle all the details, including car rentals, but this wasn't the case. I ended up having to deal with many of the practical arrangements myself, which was frustrating considering the price we paid.

When I reached out through their chat service to resolve some of these issues, I was met with no real help. Instead of offering solutions, the only response I received was to fill out a complaints form. This lack of customer service was incredibly disappointing.

The meals included in the tour were also underwhelming. They mostly consisted of pizza or burgers, with almost no healthy alternatives provided. This limited food selection made it difficult to maintain a balanced diet throughout the trip.

That being said, the places we visited were beautiful, and if you’re looking for opportunities to party, you’ll find plenty of them. There are plenty of chances to socialize and get drunk every night if that’s what you're after.

The constant upselling of add-ons and activities also became tiresome. Instead of focusing on delivering a solid experience, the guides spent a lot of time pushing extra tours and overpriced activities. I overheard a guide speaking to a tour company, saying, “See how many I brought?” which made it clear they were more focused on making money than on providing a quality experience for the guests.

In conclusion, Welcome to Travel doesn't fully live up to its promises. While the destinations are great, the lack of true guidance, the misleading marketing, and the lack of customer support make it hard to recommend. If you’re looking for a more authentic and well-rounded tour experience, you may want to look elsewhere.

As many, I wanted to do the east coast but had no idea where to begin or what to do and I had no time for planning, so a friend told me about welcome to travel and I contacted Becca, she was amazing! My trip down the east coast was perfect! I had so much fun and the places are a dream. I was a little scared bc I was solo traveling but I had no problem at all and now I have so many friends I met at the hostels!!

I started my WHV in Australia with Welcome to Travel and it was the best choice I could have made! My Welcome to Melbourne tour was such a brilliant introduction to the country and put my mind at ease to find work and accommodation.

I also used Welcome to Travel to book all my travel around Australia, I joined their Welcome to West Coast and Welcome to Northern Territory community tours which were BRILLIANT! All my interactions with the Welcome to Travel team for booking trips and receiving recommendation were fantastic and I couldn't recommend them more! I most recently travelled around Tasmania in October on a trip they organised for me and it was the perfect balance of adventure and culture.

It was the best decision to book our trip with WTT. We had the best hostels, the best trips and just an unforgettable month travelling up the east coast. We saw the highlights at every place we’ve been to. When we had a question we could text WTT and they always helped us. We also booked the Melbourne Mini Package and it helped us to get to know Melbourne better and also understanding the history of the City. Everyone was so nice in the office of WTT. I will never forget this trip!! Thanks a lot!!
