Poor quality items, worse customer service
About the items - I purchased a pair of trousers at the end of May 2025. Almost immediately they became unhemmed. Now they are basically disintegrating- there are pulls all over the leg, the pocket is shredded, and they’re essentially not suitable for wearing out the house.
About the customer service - I contacted whistles over a month ago about the repeated quality issues I’d had with these trousers. In this time I’ve received only two responses from them and had to send 5 chaser emails and a live chat message to get a response. I’ve been offered a £25 goodwill gesture despite the fact the trousers are unwearable, and they’ve just been ignoring me since, so I can only assume they have no intention of giving me any sort of refund.
When I contacted whistles about the unhemming, they did offer to cover £25 towards the repair but wouldn’t pay this to me until I had a receipt, an unnecessary faff. I never took them up on this, so to be offered the same £25 again for yet more quality issues is insulting.

I won’t say it’s always easy to reach whistles customer services you have to allow time to reach them but once you do they are very helpful and lovely staff

I heard nothing further. 4 weeks after placing an order I contacted them by email to cancel the order and request a refund. Their presumably AI response invited me to use the returns process and advised the thread would be considered closed as resolved. They have now agreed a refund which I am waiting for. Shameful for a company like whistles

Fantastic Reigate Store
