We are a prospective purchaser. Jack, the Estate Agent, had full and proper knowledge of the house and pointed out all the benefits without over-selling. He coped admirably with our tag along Grandchildren too.

From first contact, right up until completion Stephanie, James and the rest of the Horley team were extremely friendly, helpful & responsive. Selling the property within a matter of days and always ensuring any queries were dealt with promptly. They were understanding of the complex situation of selling a home on behalf of someone else. We are incredibly grateful to go through the process of selling our Mother’s home with them.

**Terrible Experience with White and Sons Estate Agents, Horley**

I’m extremely disappointed with the service provided by White and Sons Estate Agents in Horley. My wife and I both took time off work to attend viewings for several properties that we had booked with them, only to receive a phone call shortly before our appointments informing us that they had accepted offers on two of the properties. This was frustrating enough, but then they refused to show us the third property unless we were in a "proceedable position."

The agent on the phone was incredibly rude and condescending, asking repeatedly if we had "cash in the bank." I explained that we have a mortgage in principle and do not need to sell our current home to proceed with a purchase, but she persisted, dismissively questioning if we actually had the cash available. It was insulting and made us feel as though we were being judged as unworthy of their time.

The whole experience was a complete waste of our time, and the lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking. I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with this agency, as they clearly have no respect for potential buyers.

Straight forward. Sensible advice.
£800000 was agreed. In retrospect it should have gone on the market at £820000, knowing that buyers want the satisfaction of knocking a bit off the price.

Really friendly and approachable office. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that other estate agent we have used had a dedicated sales progresser which saved us quite a few phones calls.

We have used White and Sons as letting agents for more than 10 years. Their standards are consistently reliable and there is a depth of knowledge about landlord regulations which is very helpful to small-scale amateurs like us. Tenants have always been happy with the responsiveness of the maintenance team, who have a good range of local contractors. Hate to think how difficult it would have been to manage a rental property ourselves without them.

Very professional and well organised lettings team. Our experience has been first class, from initial valuation, securing tenants, co-ordinating maintenance, administration and clear/timely communications. Would highly recommend

When White & Sons came to value our house we were given some facts and statistics that naturally you are a bit sceptical of...however, we had an amazing experience with them from start to finish!

Cedric and his team have been amazing from start to completion. We chose to go with White and Sons as they were not pushy at all and gave an honest input when evaluating our property. We had a few estate agents (we feel) really devalue our property when recommending a price to sell for. Cedric came round and supported our choice of what we’d like to accept & put our property up for and after photos being taken we sold with in a week and half of it being up. Absolutely over the moon with the service and we will most definitely go back to them if we go through the process again. Communication was amazing, always keeping us up to date. Always easy to get hold of if we had any questions & never felt like we were bothering them. White and Sons managed a property rental for us for a number of years with our primary contact being Sarah Wycherley. We always received an excellent, friendly and professional service with any issues being promptly reported to us and tradesmen arranged where appropriate. Any regulatory requirements and utility inspections were handled by Sarah and her team and the monthly statement of income sent out to us provided copies of all relevant invoices to support any works completed. Changes to the tenants were handled direct by them too with limited input required from me. I would use White and Sons again in the future if I needed someone to manage a rental property for me.

James and his team at Horley white and sons are phenomenal. We have dealt with them over the last couple of years and each time they have gone above and beyond.
On this occasion, James and his team managed to secure us 6 viewings within 4 days of being listed (off market) we received 4 offers on the 4th day. I do believe that the team put in a lot of effort to secure us those offers and I do feel that we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. James personally worked on our sale, and was incredibly thorough and communicative on a weekly basis, sometimes even several times per day. James chased everyone within the chain on our behalf and always returned any missed calls.
Lucy showed us many houses and was also available at a drop of a hat. Stephanie too, stepped in whenever she was needed so we were never left without someone to reach out to.

We would highly recommend white and sons Horley to anyone. They provided a seamless and stress free experience, and we will be sure to use them again should we need them.

After 2 years of trying to sell our late mothers house - through usual estate agents - we were persuaded to use White &Sons . Their approach is different and more personal and they keep in constant communication with you throughout the process. They led us to success!!

With a deadline to sell our property we asked White and Sons to market our home. Within two weeks they had produced a very professional high quality brochure and had already had several prospective buyers to view the property. The estate agent’s knowledge of the market and valuation resulted in several competitive offers from buyers within the first few weeks of listing, one of which we accepted.
Unfortunately this buyer withdrew from sale just prior to contract exchange leaving us very concerned with meeting the deadline.
But within a week James of White & Sons recovered the situation with a new buyer. Two months later we are now very relieved to have completed the sale.
Much appreciation to James, Stephanie and the team for their professionalism, support, communication and reassurance through all of this. We highly recommend White & Son’s.
