Nathan helped us with securing a mortgage when buying our new home. He was so helpful talking us through the whole process as first time buyers, and explained everything really clearly. All of the paperwork was sorted really quickly, and it was really reassuring to know that he was just a phone call away the whole time. He helped us liaise with our solicitors, and kept us in the loop whenever there were any developments in the process. We came to WightHouse Capital through a friend’s recommendation, and we’d absolutely recommend Nathan’s services in turn to anyone looking for mortgage support.

I was recommended by a friend to Nathan to buy our forever home and Nathan has done a brilliant job. He made me and my husband totally stress free and gave us his 100%. Nathan was supporting us with everything we needed with the information that we were not sure about. He has done an outstanding job throughout the whole process. As a first-time buyer, most people will usually agree that there is a certain aura of excitement about the idea of purchasing your first home - the freedom it will provide, the chance to create your own space without having to ask your parents or landlord for permission, a new start? The list could go on. However, this exciting bubble can sometimes be popped prematurely when you start trying to make this dream a reality and you realize that you need to have means of funding it. The bank you have held an account with since you were a teenager usually seems like a sensible place to start, right? Well, unless you are planning on living in a cardboard box, then the amount they are willing to trust you with won’t get you very far. For myself, after going to the majority of high street banks and seeing similar results, I started wondering if I was actually in the right position, financially, to get a mortgage. This changed once I stumbled across WightHouse Capital after an embarrassingly simple Google search. This was significant for me, as accepted that I clearly knew nothing about the process of getting a mortgage and I should probably accept some professional help along the way.

Once I took the plunge to contact WightHouse Capital, I was really pleased to be greeted by a polite and friendly voice under the name of Nathan who took down all of my initial details and then set me up for the next steps. Nathan, who I honestly can’t thank enough, made the ‘preparation’ part of my process a genuine breeze. He responded fast, checked in on me in a non-pushy manner, was always positive, and had this great balance of being a professional that could talk to you like a friend. It ultimately provided me with a comfortable environment to ask all of the “silly” questions that I could ever think of and he always took the time to explain the technicalities to me. He helped make this part of the journey exciting again and I should also add that he found me some very good deals that allowed me to reconsider my budget in a sensible manner. It took me a couple of months to find a property in my budget that I was ready to submit an offer for but once I did, Nathan was ready and had helped me be ready for when that time arrived. Once this offer was accepted, he had submitted my application in what felt like a record breaking time! If the news wasn’t a reason for celebrating, the efficiency certainly was. Once my application had been submitted, Nathan provided me with updates during the crucial/key moments of the lender’s internal reviews. Like before, Nathan was there for me if I had questions and his updates always appeared to land at just the right time and always with good news. There was never a moment where I was left feeling like I didn’t know what was going on or had to hope that the ball was moving on the other side, his actions were always proactive.

If my story-like review doesn’t suggest it, then I will confirm that my overall experience with WightHouse Capital has been perfect from start to finish. I shall be recommending WightHouse Capital to my friends or family when they are needing help with their mortgage. To Nathan, if you have made it this far into my review, then thank you again. I got in contact with Nathan through a recommendation for a friend who got a mortgage through Nathan. Nathan was very professional, took the time to gather as much information as he could to try and get my the best possible deal. He was excellent at keeping me up to date and gave me lots of information about the process with being a first time buyer that I didn’t know. If you are thinking about getting any sort of mortgage advice at all I couldn’t recommend Nathan and White House capital enough.
