If you want to learn RT and get you radio licence I absolutely recommend Wilco radio. From 1st contact to the tests the communication and assistance is fantastic.
The pre test learning is on a very well presented web site which is easy to use.
The course on the day was really well presented friendly and professional with lots of help.
Absolutely excellent

I used Wilco Radio to help me practice for the FRTOL exams and it was great help and a real confidence booster. It’s also a useful tool for rehearsing RT and knowing what to expect when planning cross country flights to unfamiliar airfields.

Just completed my RT test with Andy Moon following on from a Mock exam the night before. I went into this very nervous as I’ve had limited time on the radio. Andy Moon and the team behind Wilco Radio have made this experience amazing. I would highly recommend Wilco Radio and Andy.

A great aid to self-paced training. Easy digital interface. Sensible and obvious progression with good validation of learning. Immediate and reassuring feedback. The test routes are especially useful. It's not easy (and neither should it be) and its good value.

An easy learning experience

Wilco radio is as excellent tool to have in any pilots armoury whether you have some experienced or new to RT. Easy to use and gives those great feed back and confidence as you work your way through the course. Highly recommend

An excellent learning tool enabling practice in all scenarios. Once the course is completed, there should no surprises in the real exams. The quizzes prepare you well for the CAA tests and a good performance in them is a virtual guaranteed pass with the CAA. My only request for change would be the ability to be able to backtrack on any wrong answers given in the quiz to better understand where you went wrong !

As a low hours microlight pilot this fantastic resource has been a massive aid in my path to becoming competent with RT.

Learning to use the radio can be as daunting as learning to fly. Wilco Radio helps by using real-life situations to introduce the correct radio procedures. By repeating these scenarios it enabled my confidence to grow. I now have much less anxiety about my RT and look forward to zone transits and MATZ penetrations.

This app excels from the off, easy to use, easy to configure and active devs who have clearly put a lot of thought into the app. Bodes really well for the app, a really good tool for the inexperienced and nervous, once none transponder equipped radio is in there aswell it will help those of us without. Oh, how about a printable template for our kneeboards?

I'm really impressed - this is a great training resource, and a lot more engaging than reading a book. It'll help a lot of new (and experienced) pilots improve their radio technique.
