Easily the best pies ive ever tasted
Pies come well packed and in cool box. When you order you choose your own delivery date which is so helpful

Absolutely gorgeous pies. I will definitely be buying more. Tried the black sheep an cowin lush and they taste delicious. Pastry is perfect. Going to try cheese an sweet potato next which arrived today. Just waiting for steak an cheese pasties to arrive along with lamb selection. Dont hesitate to try them you wont be disappointed. My favourite pies by far. Filled to the brim.

I did not receive the 4 apple and caramel crumble tarts. I only placed the order because I wanted the sweet pies. I have just seen that on qvc they are offering 8 of these. Although they confirm a refund it will take ages to receive the funds. I was very disappointed when I opened my order to find the ones that I wanted were missing. I will not buy again as wilf is keen on qvc at the expense of true customers. Hope the demise of qvc does not affect his business too much, but he has lost me as a customer.

Ordered the beef & horseradish and steak & ale.
We all have different tastes, i accept that.
I don’t like the horseradish ones at all, but I’m not giving 2 stars because I don’t like the taste, that is just me and my taste.
The steak and ale at first was not bad until I opened the pie up after the first taste, there was a large piece of white tough skin/gristle and the rest of the meat was very tough. For a premium pie and a premium priced pie, I feel very let down with the quality of the filling, in fact it was extremely poor and I will not be ordering again.
I wish I hadn’t ordered 16 pies, as the rest will be given away.

Just a thought,
With alot of folks owning an airfryer now is it possible that you could put times and temp for them please on paperwork .

I have had the pasties before and they were delicious
I have just made an order for more pies and sweet pies
They are delicious and well worth the money paid.
I will definitely be ordering more if they come to qvc again.

Pies came very well packaged with gel cooling pouch to keep the pies cold in transit.

We purchased the mince & steak & kidney pies through the QVC shopping channel. Both were very tasty & shall purchase again.

Would definitely recommend.

Pies arrived on time beautifully wrapped for protection and they look and taste absolutely delicious ordered saucy cow pie ,will be ordering again ,sending this review on behalf of my sister in law june .

Received a cherry and almond cake as a birthday gift from my daughter. The cake tasted nice but I had to eat it with a spoon as the cake just disintegrated when trying to cut a slice. I did try a variety of knives, all with the same result.

It was a delight to find a gourmet pie service for gift delivery, and to shop on the delicious-looking website! I was excited to make my first order and sign up for the first-timer newsletter discount. I had some questions before I ordered (on a Sunday evening), and I received a very friendly and helpful reply within the hour!!
I proceeded to make my order after signing up for the intro discount. At first, I was a little confused about where to find the discount code, but it had gone into my email's JUNK FOLDER. I wanted to make this point, because I saw that another reviewer mentioned not receiving their discount code.
I was ordering for a birthday present, so it was important to me that the item arrived on time. As a precaution, I set the delivery date one day early. When I checked on the order status, I found my order had not been shipped as expected. I immediately called the bakery (and got through to them straight away) and spoke to a wonderfully helpful employee that figured out what happened quickly when I gave my order number. The lady was extremely professional and courteous and was genuinely concerned about me as a customer. She assured me that my order would be immediately dispatched and arrive the next day. I received an email from the delivery service minutes later! My order arrived around 9am in the Northwest of England the next morning. It was a success. I wanted to write this review as I see others made it seem that this company might not be too responsive. Granted, there was a glitch with my order, however, the company's service is very much in-tact to smoothly manage a problem, and I thought it was important to share this.
No pie-tasting has occurred yet, so I cannot report on the product, however, I read plenty of reviews (on an external site) about the quality, so I am confident. This company has a pie subscription service, and I am planning to join :)
One additional comment. In my account, I saw that I would be updated by email, once my order had been sent out. At the moment, my order has arrived at its destination, but my order status in the account still says 'unfulfilled'. I don't know whether this was due to the glitch I had, or whether their system fails to update during the process, but I can see this causing confusion for customers. Something for the company to look into improving :)

EDIT: My initial review gave one star, as I had a very poor customer service experience. However, I have updated this today as I received an unprompted, personal email from the MD, offering apologies and excellent service recovery. Wilf Lewis, you have restored my faith in your company.

I will NEVER use this company again. The customer service is dreadful. Impossible to get hold of on the telephone. First in line on a call, and I'm still hanging on the phone an hour later. Slow to respond to any other form of messages. Birthday gift not delivered on time. Do NOT use!

I tried to use the 10% off code for new customers. I thought it had registered only to find after placing the order, that it hadn’t. Then followed two calls to the company each with 13 mins wait time followed by being cut off each time. I emailed them and the following day Maisie contacted me asking if I wanted a refund. I responded in the affirmative only to then be ignored. No refund, no contact, no anything. Awful company. Save yourself some money, time and aggro and dont order from this company.

I have bought from you in the past and from QVC. However, I do have to say that the Bakewell Tarts were really below the standard that I would expect from you. They were actually tasteless. Very dry and bland and absolutely no jam. I love Bakewells and have had loads of them from other companies, these certainly were not like any Bakewells that I have ever had before. I think you need to have a relook at them, something is definitely not right. Such a shame. Company not really interested in my complaint and my review on their website has mysteriously disappeared.

Terrible experience with Wilfreds pies, also known as Lewis Pies. They have had our order for 10 days now and still we have not received it. They sent out a DPD tracking. We have rung DPD several times and have been assured that they do not have our order, but have been expecting it for a week now.
We placed our order on Thursday afternoon, It should have gone out for delivery the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
They even sent me an attachment with the same info. They have taken our money and provided no goods or service. This is theft.
DPD still have not received our order.

I ordered pasties, pies and mince pies but was short delivered the mince pies.
I emailed and got a response from Maisie who apologised profusely and asked if I would like a refund or the pies. I chose the pies and lo and behold they were delivered the next morning. So a big thankyou to Maisie for her amazing customer service and the pies if you're wondering are delicious.

Excellent. Used twice now the Brownies are lush.

I’ve just had a stressful experience with Natasha in customer service.

The company sent out the incorrect item and took a very long time to respond to my messages.

There was still time to rectify the situation (as I purchased £45 worth of minced pies to gift a friend for Christmas) however due to such a long period of time elapsing with responses, I asked for a refund, as I was no longer able to gift the items.

My request was categorically ignored and when I finally received a response from Natasha, she said she had sent out the items (despite me asking her not to and requesting a refund) and didn’t even mention the request of a refund.

I proceeded to inform her that I’m coeliac so cannot consume these items, and to please issue a refund.

I’m yet to hear back but if this is not done, I will take this matter to the ombudsman if I have to, as £45 isn’t a small amount to spend on some minced pies for a gift, and the mistake wasn’t my doing.

I was unable to give my gift and as well as that, was completely ignored when requesting a refund.

I complied with every request from Natasha and was swift with my responses. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for her.

The customer service has been terrible and still not resolved (this is a very easy situation to resolve as they were at fault and admitted liability as they sent the wrong item).

I wouldn’t waste my time ordering from Wilf’s in future.
QVC have a great money back guarantee and are definitely the way forward, as their customer service is excellent.

I won’t be ordering from this company ever again for the stress and time it’s taken me to try to resolve.

Placed an order for delivery on 29 November.
Confirmation received & payment taken. No delivery confirmation or DPD delivery slot received.
After 6 calls to the company, 2 that were just cut off, I received a call back after 2 1/2 hours from Natrasha. Apparently she is the only person in the whole company who can check orders or issue refunds.
She found it funny, actually laughing, that I expected delivery on the date my order confirmation noted. The company had decided to change my delivery date but she stated that they had no intention of advising me and had no reason to notify me because they were so busy with their QVC orders.
She also lied and told me she had processed a refund as we spoke & then said she would do it after the call.
This is one local company I will not be using again. There was no customer service & they made it clear that QVC is their only priority. Very disappointing.
The pies are nice but not worth the attitude & poor experience.
