Excellent service

The book came beautifully wrapped. As it was a present for my daughter I gave it as it was - there was no way I could have wrapped it so well.

Fantastic service

Very quick dispatch. Really went the extra mile by wrapping the books in a very cute wrapping paper. It was perfect as it was a birthday present. Thank you! Always my choice to buy books.

Rory Maclean was excellent

Rory Maclean was excellent - despite the 'serious risk of wildfire' alert that kicked the evening off! His book has had great reviews, but his own description of his experiences in the years after his wife died will stay with me a long time. Venue was good, price was very reasonable as it included a glass of wine - only the rather uncomfortable chairs made us glad to stand up again!

How every book shop should be

Winstone's is how every book shop should be. What you can't find on the shelf, the helpful staff will have in your hand in days. It is a lovely space to walk into off the street with lots of alluring titles to tempt and interest. I also love the fabulous array of cards and wrapping paper. It's a pleasure to shop in.

Great advice given in the store.

Great advice given in the store which enabled me to purchase a book for my Granddaughter and have it delivered directly to her.
I was able to order, pay and add a personal message all very simply on line.
Delivery was prompt, tracked and well received.

Why would anyone buy a book online if


Why would anyone buy a book online if they can get to Winstones!? This Sherborne book shop is such a delight. Each time I’ve wanted a book, they’ve had it in stock or been able to get it for me within 24 hours, and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic
