Carolyn hosted an amazing second day of the Paediatric First Aid course. Her amusing anecdotes and inspiring insights into the facts she provides makes it so interesting to learn about and remember. She is so thorough with the course content and clearly has an excellent rapport with her 'students'. Very patient and understanding too!

I have just completed my Paediatric First Aider, with Winterbury Training. The course is run over 2 days and consists of both theory and practical training. There is ample opportunity to discuss different medical emergencies and how you would best react in these situations. It was such a valuable course that has given me some skills and the confidence to be able to deal with an accident more effectively. Many thanks Carolyn for this invaluable training.

Carolyn makes this course an enjoyable way to learn about First Aid. Lots of personal anecdotes and she made it really easy for us to remember what we needed to do for the exam! I would definitely recommend this service

Great training delivered in a fun and clear way...can recommend highly.

I have attended a quite a few training days with Winterbury Training and have always found the trainer lovely, approachable with any questions, full of experience and scenarios to help you understand course content.
She has a great sense of humour and she uses this within her training to help you through sections with difficult themes whilst maintaining the seriousness of specific areas and themes.
I enjoy attending any training with Winterbury, as I know I will be updated with current legislation, valuable insight and experience from her, and made to feel welcome. She also provides further guidance and help via email after training and is on hand should you need it.

The last three days have been informative, thorough, made easy to understand, relaxed with fun injected every step of the way.

The First Aid course delivered by Carolyn Port from Winterbury training was really well delivered and thorough.

An excellent day's training with Carolyn who maintained a professional attitude whilst keeping us all entertained. I would not hesitate to recommend Carolyn or Winterbury training to anyone needing sound First Aid trainjng.

Excellent first aid course. Fun session while learning a lot. Highly recommended

The course was informative, interesting and also fun. It was excellent value for money. The trainer was very knowledgeable, but also very approachable, making me feel comfortable about asking any questions or saying I didn’t understand something. At the end, I felt confident that I would be able to administer emergency first aid if needed.
The reason for only giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that, whilst I found the anecdotes and examples given by other delegates extremely helpful in most instances, there were lots and lots of them, resulting in the course overrunning by around 45 minutes. Perhaps the trainer could have stepped in occasionally to move us on a bit quicker. That said, it was a close run thing between 4 and 5 stars.

Excellent training session and very thought provoking. The trainer Carolyn was knowledgeable and delivered difficult topics well. The session included a good range of activities and resources. Would highly recommend.

fantastic course full of lots of great information, and keeping it real so you can put in to contents should you ever have to do first aid. 10/10 Standard this is my second time doing a course with Winterbury training and I will definitely doing it again in three years time.

Fantastic, personal first aid training for whole school. Carolyn made the whole day enjoyable and useful even though it was a very hot last day of the school year! We would highly recommend her.
