300 € für den Premium-Account im Voraus gezahlt – verloren

30 £ Gebühr, um überhaupt an das eigene Geld zu kommen

Gesammeltes Cashback einfach weg – Geld, das man sonst sinnvoll hätte einsetzen können

Metallkarte für 50 € bestellt – jetzt komplett unbrauchbar

Alle hinterlegten Zahlungsarten bei Online-Diensten müssen mühsam geändert werden

Insgesamt entsteht ein Schaden von rund 1.000 € sowie ein erheblicher zusätzlicher Aufwand, um alles wieder zu bereinigen.

Wirex recently closed my account completely out of the blue, citing vague "routine checks" and "legal obligations." They completely refused to provide a specific reason for the closure. To make matters worse, they confiscated my remaining balance of £16.48. They claimed that because my balance was under £30, it was being absorbed as an "administration fee" for closing the account, and no refunds would be issued.

Looking at other reviews and forums, it seems this is a common tactic: abruptly closing accounts to sweep up users' small balances under the guise of maintenance or administration fees. Absolutely predatory behavior. Avoid keeping your funds here.

Casi un año todo funcionaba a la perfección hasta que hace tres meses me bloquearon el acceso a mi cuenta sin previa advertencia, les he enviado varios correos y la única respuesta que dan es que están trabajando para restablecer el acceso y que tenga paciencia. I have been trying to arrange a transfer for 3 weeks now. In the meantime, the transfer has been canceled. Meanwhile, they gave the review back to a special team and then I didn't hear anything for another 3 days. My account is still limited, which means I can't send my crypto to another bank or trade it. They’re stealing my money. First they blocked my account for several months, the I say ok, just close my account. Then they say there’s if fee 30 gbp to close my account and I only have 6,52 gbp.. So they don’t let my transfer that amount, instead they’re stealing my money.

Wirex has illegally retained my funds since January 2025. Despite assurances from support to be patient, there has been no resolution. I am now escalating this to international legal courts. They appear to be using their UK jurisdiction to avoid accountability. I urge everyone to report this app on the Google Play Store to protect potential new users. An investigation is currently underway with a fraud recovery service

They look polished and even have team members that are helpful at first but when you commit to a long-term plan, you start having issues with basic service like withdrawing your money. It's been over a month now and they won't send my money. If not for my cousin recommendation all my $257k would have vanished, the agency helped me with my recovery process. Fight for what is yours!!!
