Woodsen makes acacia wood kitchen utensils for people who want to cook with something natural, simple and built to last. We started Woodsen because we were tired of plastic spatulas that melt, crack and wear out, and of “wooden” sets coated in lacquer that peels after a few months. So we focused on one material we trust: solid acacia wood. It’s a dense, naturally water-resistant hardwood that’s gentle on non-stick, ceramic, stainless steel and cast iron pans. Every Woodsen utensil is made from solid acacia and finished with food-grade oil. No lacquer, no shellac, no synthetic coatings. Our sets cover everyday cooking: ladles, spatulas, turners, slotted and serving spoons, plus matching cutting boards and utensil holders. We stand behind what we sell. Every utensil comes with a lifetime guarantee. If something breaks, email us and we’ll replace it, no forms and no fine print. Most of our customers are home cooks who want fewer, better things in their kitchen, and many buy a second set as a gift for family. Questions about an order, shipping or our products? Our support team answers every email at support@woodsen.co. We read every review here on Trustpilot, the good ones and the bad ones, and use them to keep improving. Woodsen is operated by Gallery No8, LLC.

Coated with lacquer from China
I received these utensils after waiting for a full month (they did not ship for 2 full weeks after I ordered, and then apparently it takes 2 weeks to ship from China.) Their ad makes it seem like these are made by domestic craftsmen, but buyer beware these are from China. After examining them, and washing them with soap and water, it was obvious to me that they are covered in some kind of lacquer. This is not "mineral oil" (from China? How do you verify that ?) that they claim via AI bot via email. I am requesting a refund and hopefully they follow through. So disappointing.

SCAM!
SCAM!! Fraudulent company, don’t buy from them.
I saw an ad on Facebook for this company that was selling small leaf Acacia wood, utensils, no lacquer, no chemicals, everything all natural hand carved by the Amish. The website states that they are made sold and shipped from the US. I didn't press the link on Facebook. I googled the company’s name and read the website and decided to order after reading made in the US and shipped from the US.
As soon as I placed the order, I received a tracking number coming from China. I received the utensils while I was out of state and when I returned, the utensils are exactly everything that they said that they weren’t they have lacquer on them. They’re cheap. The little container that it’s held in is super tiny. The stuff barely fits in it. Most of the handles are super short. It’s a scam!

Total scam
Total scam ! Company responds to emails but does absolutely nothing to resolve lost orders. They blame the shipping company forcing you to reach out directly and then the shipping company blames their shipping company, rinse and repeat.Stay away from this company.
