To cancel the service, there are instructions on the website, but they don't work. You press 'cancel subscription' ten times, and nothing updates on your account. We canceled two years ago, but this year we realized that the cancellation never happened, and we were charged $170 each year. The email we used for the subscription isn't in use much now, so we missed the warning emails about the subscription being reactivated. Today, I am trying to cancel again, and the same story—nothing happens following the instructions on the website.
I forgot to unsubscribe on time (I unsubscribed because I don't write in English often. I found the paraphrasing feature of Wordtune amazing.). Their support team not only helped me unsubscribe but tried their best to understand my need and experience. Their earnesty is absolutely impressive.

Ela from Customer Service literally deserves a raise or at least a bonus. I wish her nothing but the best, and I hope her pillow is always cold, and every day is a good hair day for her. She was so understanding of my situation and genuinely saved me. Other than that, Wordtune is great, I've used it for over a year and never had any complaints!

I recently had a frustrating experience with Wordtune's customer support that disappointed me.
On June 5, 2024, I contacted Wordtune to change the email associated with my Premium account. Despite my repeated attempts to get help, I didn't receive a meaningful reply until more than 14 hours later. I clearly explained that I needed to deactivate the account linked to my email account and transfer my Premium subscription. However, the support agent, Nikki, seemed to misunderstand my request, stating that no account existed under the first email and suggesting I sign up for a new account. This was not the solution I needed.
My frustration grew as the hours passed without a proper resolution. I had to explain the issue multiple times, and even then, the responses were delayed and unclear. At one point, I was offered a discount link that didn't work, adding to my frustration.
By June 7, 2024, I was thoroughly fed up. I had been assured that my issue would be resolved, but instead, I faced more delays and miscommunication. I couldn't understand why it was so difficult to get a straightforward answer and a quick resolution. The whole ordeal made me appreciate Grammarly's superior customer service even more.
In the end, I decided not to reactivate my Wordtune subscription. Despite the product's promising features, the support was so poor that I couldn't justify continuing the service. Wordtune needs to improve its customer support to retain users seriously. I'm sticking with Grammarly, which has proven far better in all aspects.

I have made a subscription to wordtune and it was billed annually to my credit card for 179.88$. Charged me 179.88 dollars on Jan 28, 2024 for a subscription I didn't even click on!!!! Why should I pay While I am not using?????
I intended to pay 15 dollars a month, but when pressing the deal it took me to a deal about 180 a year .Although, I do not want the wordtune premium annually since I am not satisfied with the plan and would like to cancel it and request for refund the amount for which period I have not used, Anyways, I have cancelled the plan, expecting that to get a refund for the rest of the period that I won't be using. I know there are terms that if the customer does not get satisfied from the subscription they have every right to ask for the refund. Now, I do not get to see the refund and also, my plan has been cancelled. Please explain why should I pay you for not using anything? Wordtune does not have any options to talk to them except a messenger on their web application which takes a day or more to get response. This is ridiculous to have such an amazing platform do such mischievous activities with the billing and this shows their unethical behavior and customer centric approach.

I have cancelled the plan and now, I got charged for the annual plan without even using the subscription. I requested a refund for the service that I am not using. Your support center does not answer my questions and they always quote some phrase out of the blue that it is already mentioned. I know what I clicked and subscribed. Wordtune should also respect the customers choice and should resolve their concerns. Now, after I cancel the plan, I could not even look for the billing documents in my accounts page and any reference number to provide you. I request a swift action for my concerns and refund asap.

Membership prices have sadly increased quite a bit.
I personally think the old prices were perfect and much more affordable for customers who rely on this program for personal work, projects or their studies. But at least now they've given me a free one-month trial to help and support me. I appreciate their effort! Thank you.

They use a third party agency that specializes is bombarding credit card issuers with doctored documentation to support unauthorized credit card charges. They keep popping up on my Citibank statement and the company they use is relentless with providing them with pages of nonsense with TOS and IP addresses.

Thank you for your reply, however your explanation does not align with the facts of this situation. As I mentioned previously, my company never signed up for or agreed to any terms of service with Wordtune. The screenshots and documentation you provided to Citibank did not actually include any information tying the charges to our company or employees.
The dates on those screenshots also conflicted with the alleged initial sign-up you claim occurred two years ago. It appears these may have been doctored or manipulated, which could constitute fraud when presenting them to a financial institution.
I have already escalated this matter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau due to the suspicious nature of the documentation provided. Citibank was also made aware that your third-party chargeback firm, Chargeback 911, has faced lawsuits from the U.S. Attorney General over similar unethical recovery tactics.
Numerous online reviews show a pattern of Wordtune refusing cancellations and continuing unauthorized billing over years. If you have any actual proof that our company legitimately signed up for and used your services, I urge you to provide that. Otherwise, continuing to pursue these charges appears to be an intentional fraudulent scheme on your part.
My company will not be intimidated by manipulated evidence.

I have really enjoyed Wordtune but recently I am considering leaving. Customer service is just artificial intelligence, and their recent update is really bad. When you try and remove the tab option with the X icon, it doesn't work. Instead it crashed and deletes work. Another issue is that you need a bigger screen to see all options for suggested corrections. I have noticed when I move the window from my laptop screen to a desktop screen all is reveled. If you want to talk to someone about the techical error. It is just AI. IF they only talk to you with AI and you are paying a good price per month its not worth signing up. I think I will join Grammerly as they let you have a student account regardless of when you signed up.

I was a little confused but I went back to the home page and did the same deal of 25 dollars a month and the same thing popped up and I just assumed that it was another deal. When trying to pay it charged me 180 dollars for business class and there was no way to cancel my order. I didn't even click on the business deal but it somehow took me there. I try to contact them but they still haven't answered. I dont mind paying 25 dollars but 175 dollars is ridiculous I just want the rest of my money back. The fact that they dont have any other way to contact them like an email or phone number but through a social media account is also ridiculous.
Update:
They were able to get back to me and gave me a refund. They downgraded my offer to monthly and they canceled my subscription so it won't renew by itself. They also gave me a 15% discount if I want to renew with them for another month.

As a professional writer, I used to promote this software as a must-have...until venture capitalists took hold of it, and now it's honestly more hassle than it's worth. Not only has it hidden the majority of its better aspects behind a paywall, (fair enough I suppose) its latest genius decision requires users to log on through a temporary e mail link. Why? Not only does this rarely work, on occasions it has snapped my work, resulting in the loss of the work in progress.
This is really short-sighted and undoubtedly aimed at reducing the small amount of people who cheat the system. As a result, the software is no longer stable to use. AI apps move at a fast pace. I fully expect this one top continue to lose tractional and be taken over by one of the big players in AI development within a year. A pity, as it had great potential. There is a management lesson in here somewhere.

These people scammed me of $100.
I never subscribed to Wordtune. Then I see that they've been charging me $24.99 a month since September of last year. I checked both of my email addresses and neither had a premium subscription plan. I wrote them saying they were fraudulent charges and that neither of my email addresses were subscribed to Wordtune. They replied that apparently I was subscribed with some @privaterelay.appleid.com email address (I have no idea why or how) that I didn't know I had, and that therefore they're only refunding me for one of the five months that they charge me. They're pretending like they're being really cool for returning 1/5 of the money they have stolen from me, but have opted to keep the remaining $100. I am trying to dispute the charges via my bank, but just be forewarned.
Update: they're doubling down on charging me even when I reiterated to them that I never signed up for, nor used their service. Apparently, Wordtune does not care if they are charging someone for a service they never signed up for.
No wonder they have an F rating in the Better Business Bureau website!

If writing is a big part of your job, GET THIS. I have a very small business and copywriting is my bread & butter. Wordtune helps me write better content that's still infused with personality, as it allows me to edit. Over the years, its machine learning has picked up so much about my clients that I barely have to correct product data!
It's truly impressive what they've done with the platform over the years. I love and recommend Wordtune to everyone I know in the business :)
No customer support AT ALL. There's NO EMAIL, NO PHONE, NO LIVE CHAT- Nothing.
I cancelled my subscription 4 days before renewal and they charged my CC. Have done a chargeback and will get my money back, but what a scam!!
Guess they are desperate now as the company is totally redundant. ChaptGPT does everything they do for free. So does Grammarly's free version.

There is no customer support service !!!! Only Bots. Wordtune has been down for three days now and all I get is "Log Out","clean your cache", "Log Back", despite explaining that I only work on incognito mode. Interestingly, the glitch started as soon as they started advertising their Wordtune for business. There are many more new providers out there, so I'll ask for a refund of my subscription. Don't spend your money and time with these guys. They will let you down at the time when you need their service the most.

Wordtune offered a 1:1 call on Google Meet with their technician whose is profiled on Linkedin as "virtual assistant based in the Philippines, I will never know as he never showed up on the call. Like many others, I remain stranded with no human assistance whatsoever, only automated responses showing that their systems did not read any of the explanations about the issues I am facing. Their latest communication is "Our high volume of requests has consumed much of our time".
Well wordtune makes my typing life easy as I'm constantly typing at all times because of my business.
I couldn't have asked more ways of correcting spellings and grammar so efficient.
Thank you wordtune for such prolific experience.

Did use it in the past and was happy with it.
Did upgrade it to my plus plan today, used it and was suprised with 30 time limit AI re-write. Very bad decision. I cancelled my plan after 5 minutes use.
