I would like to share some insightsâŠ
I would like to share some insights regarding my experiences with Natasha from the World Gym Australia head office in handling my concerns. The issue I raised was quite serious, and I anticipated it would be addressed appropriately. Natasha was very pleasant and friendly during our phone conversation, demonstrating a kind personality, and she was cooperative and empathetic toward me. I appreciate her efforts, understanding that she has limitations and that there are supervisors above her. However, I feel it is important to express some concerns about the overall professionalism at World Gym Australia, especially regarding the safety and well-being of women at North Lakes World Gym. Unfortunately, my personal information was shared with outsiders, and my full name was disclosed in a Google review response, despite informing staff that I am a victim of domestic violence and require sensitive handling. I have experienced stalking and harassment, which have significantly affected my well-being. It was distressing to observe groups gathering and following me around the gym, creating an environment that felt unsafe. Additionally, I noticed some security cameras were not operational and observed activities that appeared suspicious. I am also concerned about my ban from the gym, which seems to be aimed at protecting the gym's reputation. As a 51-year-old woman, my primary focus is on my personal journeyâsharing this account was not for personal gain. I believe that respect and safety for women should be top priorities. Unfortunately, I feel that my safety was compromised, and I hope the gym will consider implementing further protective measures. I encourage others to report any unethical behaviour to help foster a safer environment for everyone. I have also noticed that some individuals at the gym appear intoxicated, and some follow me around, which I find concerning. These individuals may lack respect or proper conduct, and it is important to ensure a respectful environment. I also believe that visible signage regarding acceptable behaviourâsuch as prohibitions on harassment, staring, As Josh andhis best frind Tony have been acting and staring onyour womne i supct they have involvement in some activities âwould be beneficial to reinforce expectations. To all women, please consider exercising caution with sharing personal details and remain vigilant in your surroundings and in the car park. Keeping detailed notes of any incidents and reporting them can help improve safety for everyone. Support each other and report concerns, as this can contribute to making the environment safer and more welcomingâbecause protecting the well-being of customers should be a priority for World Gym Australia.
Overall, most of the staff are rude and disrespectful. They lack manners, and Mr. Kurt Mudford, the owner, is arrogant, rude, and unprofessional. The personal trainers don't practice what they preach, and the machines are broken and not working; sometimes they do, sometimes they donât. Very dirty toilets; when I was there, the facility was filthy and never cleaned. There are people who go there with no good intentions. You can see theyâre not into fitness; they are there to look up women. This place's underworld, garbage-filled carparks, is very dirty most of the time. You often see bottles of alcohol. I am concerned that now young children go to the gym unsupervised and are exposed to dangerous people
