I have given 1 as you can’t give zero! Scam at the highest form. Advertised as a spectacular Cirque show but was an absolute shambles of a production. Walked out before half break. No reply when contacted for refund as wasn’t as advertised! WILL NEVER PAY £ for shows from this company again. £120+ for 2 tickets, seen better from kids school displays 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Look at the reviews online for Elf and Wizard of Oz, they'll speak for themselves.

The advert for the show promised spectacular cirque performance, it was more school panto.

Thousands walked out on the shows and thousands tried for refunds but the show was adamant that it was a great production (despite security at the venue stating they'd never seen so many walk outs and being pre prepared with complaints cards to hand out and that was before the show started on day 2!!!)

Checks on companies house throw up more questions. I'd recommend giving any show from Jon Conway a swerve if Wizard of Oz is anything to go by

If I could give a zero I would. It was just a pathetic show with casual racism thrown in. It was certainly not as was advertised.

Absolutely appalling and completely misleading. The Wicked Wizard of Oz by World’s Biggest Productions was nothing like the show advertised. The marketing suggests a high-quality, professional family production, but what we experienced was low-budget, poorly executed, and deeply disappointing.

The production value was shockingly bad – weak performances, unimpressive staging, and an overall lack of professionalism. It felt rushed and amateur from start to finish. This is not what you expect when paying premium ticket prices.

The worst part was seeing how disappointed the audience was, especially the children. You could sense the frustration in the venue, and multiple families near us left before the show had even finished. That says everything.

For the price charged, this felt like a complete rip-off. The advertising needs to be far more honest about what people are actually paying for. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Worlds biggest productions are about as entertaining as a damp teatowel covered in cat puke & mouse entrails.

Was unlucky enough to see "The Wicked Wizard of OZ; A Cirque Spectacular at the Brighton Centre. Utterly AWFUL show. Lots of technical issues,inaudible sound, incredibly dire performance & lacklustre story line.

Stage left empty for several minutes with no explanation during the show. No one seemed to know what was going on, least of all the performers. The Tin Man was a random Transformer type character, the Lion was dressed as a Tiger & never spoke, Toto disappeared never to be seen again & it went downhill from there.

Acrobats at primary school level, innuendo that was not funny, acting was on a par with infant school Nativity plays.

Spectacularly awful, very little (just basic) high wire work & nothing like the trailer. Trailer showed the witch flying on a broom stick via high wires.

Reality was, she travelled around the floor on a bicycle tied to the top of a golf buggy.

I have never seen so many people walk out of a show before the end & it wasn't that busy to start with. I think lots of people booked presuming it was part of the Cirque Du Soleil franchise, which it certainly is not.

"Wizard" was a touring show which acquired terrible reviews up & down the country. Not allowed to link reviews but look up this production & Evening Argus & the BBC.

Deserves zero stars but that is not an option.

Their next production apparantly, is a version of Scrooge in 2026. Please avoid them forever. Save your money & do not be fooled by the trailers.

Disgraceful that they can get away with calling this a ‘Cirque Spectacular’!! It was amateur at best & the advertisements up to the event were misleading & did not accurately reflect the content, which was shockingly poor. Masses of people walked out at the performance I attended, myself & family members included…it was that bad. It appears that this was not an isolated incident & there have been countless complaints across all shows. Total rip off, shame on this company that they’ve not done the right thing & refunded people. Let’s hope karma catches up with them before they close this company & start again under a different names as per their previous history.

If I could give zero stars I would.Nearly £200 wasted and a family day out ruined. This is not reflective of the advertising. It’s amateur at best. Sound was terrible.

Not spectacular. Very poor acts. I’ve seen better at local dramas shows and kids school productions . Some Panto aspects not even suitable for kids very crude and borderline racist.
Do not book any production by this company. It’s a rip off.

Review of The Wicked Witch of Oz.
This show doesn’t even deserve one star. A complete scam. Sold it as a cirque spectacular was so far from the truth. I’ve never seen such a cheap and amateurish performance but with West End prices being sold to us suspecting audiences.
Inappropriate sketch involving a glory hole and a cucumber should not be allowed with so many children in the audience.
The cowardly lion was dressed as a tiger.
The scarecrow was a transformer.
The wicked witch was transported on top of a golf cart. In the promo video she looks like she’s flying.
We walked out during the 2nd half which is something I’ve never done.
A Facebook group was set up and there was a few thousand people all echoing the same message.
This page was taken down and I believe the company was responsible for making this happen.
We have all been refused refunds apart from those who saw the show in Brighton as they had technical issues.
We saw this show in Hull and I bought the tickets as a Christmas treat. I don’t know how these people sleep. Day light robbery. Don’t waste your money.

Awful pantomime. I've seen better amateur shows than this. Nothing was as it advertised it to be, and was definitely not family appropriate. Completely ripped off.

One star is too much for these con artists. I paid £234 for three tickets for what I thought would be a wonderful evening with my family watching circus displays of a professional level. What we received was a very poor show and I actually felt sorry for the cast but this was not an arena performance and was a complete let down. We stayed the whole show but all around us hundreds were leaving throughout the performance which actually became more interesting than the show itself. I don't normally write bad reviews but this show was run by con artists and should be blacklisted from selling a farce of a show the wicked wizard of Oz circue spectacular. We watched this at the BP Arena which we were shocked allowed this awful show to go on. The advertisement was misleading and showed acts that were not performed at the actual show. Avoid this company like the plague as I intend to double check the producers of shows in future as disappointment does not come close I feel completely ripped off!!

Seriously if I could give minus I would. Promised a spectacular show, charged an arena price ticket and delivered a shockingly bad amateur production. In fact I have seen amateur production much better than this. AVOID!

Scammers nothing more

Went to see this at the BP Pulse Birmingham, completely false advertised, amateur performance, so many people walking out which is denied by the company. £234 for 3 tickets :-(. When I left a review which was very diplomatic on there official Facebook group it was taken down and I was blocked. Also another Facebook group which gained 2.6k angry followers got taken down following complaints by the company, coincidentally one of its main cast members posted a picture with a cigar saying I love it when a plan comes together on the same as the group got taken down. All I can say is Very good con people :-( 5600 at the BP Pulse average ticket price £54, someone has made a lot of money.

I booked 4 ticket for this show at BP pulp auditorium Birmingham on 22nd December 25. My understanding was this was fantastic performance. The posters advertising the show depicted flying witches, acrobats, trapeze artists, instead we had a witch going round on a golf buggie. Mediocre acrobates
People around us were bored chatting and changing seats!

Unfortunately this show was mis-sold and disproportionately overpriced. The marketing material did not match what was performed. The customer service is dreadful and there has been no acknowledgement from the production company. There are many reviews detailing the same grievance, it is not matter of opinion as the company states, it was the worst show i have seen. I have requested a refund for missold service but the responses are generic and do not address the specific claim. Do not waste your money.
