I’d recommend this to anyone! I was bought a 1 hour session on the wheel, for a birthday. Jenny was a great instructor and we all enjoyed ourselves! We made 2 pots in the time, one which was then glazed and fired by Jenny for us to collect. A really fun hour, in a beautiful location, I will definitely go again. I’m really pleased with my pot.

My daughter bought us a one hour throwing lesson at WotPots which was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Jenny is a really friendly and approachable teacher, she explained and demonstrated the process in detail before we had a go ourselves. With only 4 people in the class we were able to ask questions and receive help as required whilst creating our pots. Getting two goes is great: it was really good to do the process twice and feel more experienced second time round! I was so pleased to actually produce a pot! Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the one-hour beginners’ wheel lesson and hope to sign up for a longer course soon. Jenny is a great, relaxed teacher who took the time to thoroughly explain and demonstrate the pot-throwing process before we had a go at throwing our own pots. With ample 1:1 support and the opportunity to ask lots of questions, we all produced pieces we were proud of! A bonus was the discovery of Westbury Wildlife Park - a peaceful haven just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Westbury on Trym.

We held our daughter’s 8th Birthday Party at Wots Pots. From the moment we booked, communication with Jenny was great and timely. Nothing was too much trouble.
Even though we only live 5 mins away from the Wildlife Park we had never been, so the week before my daughter and I ventured to see it. What a beautiful location for a studio.
The party itself was perfect. Sam (our host on the day) was great, the options of things to paint, the timings, the bits Jenny provided to make things easier (juice, plates, cups, decorations etc).
It was definitely our easiest & most enjoyable party to date and most importantly the children loved it. I would have another party back here without hesitation.

Jenny at WOT Pots has created an absolute oasis of calm creativity. The workshop is well equipped and gorgeous and she makes you feel instantly at home there. Her teaching method makes you feel unhurried, giving you the confidence to happily create your pottery piece without feeling like a complete novice (even though I totally am!). Currently halfway through a 6 week level 1 course and can't think of a more lovely way to spend a Wednesday evening. A special thank you to Jenny for being so inclusive of my 80 year old mum who's on the course with me. She was nervous of not being able to hear well enough but Jenny has made sure she hears everything and feels included in the group :)

Had a great time with the family. Painting the different ornaments! Jenny was so helpful and we were the only people in there. Very relaxed and fun! Kids loved it.

I completed work experience assisting Jenny at Wotpots and had an amazing experience there! Its in such a lovely area and Jenny is so helpful and great to work with. I also took one of the throwing classes with a friend and we had so much fun making our little pots! The class is well structured and Jenny is a talented, thorough teacher, there to save you from disaster at any second! Could not recommend Wotpots more.

I’ve had two one hour taster classes and then most recently a day workshop learning how to use the pottery wheel. Jenny is a brilliant teacher and it’s a lovely peaceful location for a studio. I’d highly recommend it to anybody wanting to try using a wheel. I’ve definitely developed the pottery bug.

For my daughter's birthday I took her and some friends to Wot Pots for pottery painting. They had a wonderful time, received lots of help and support with their painting and produced some beautifully decorated pottery. The studio is also in a very picturesque location in the heart of Westbury-on-Trym. I would heartily recommend taking a class here.

Amazing place that we have been using for years for children parties and individual classes. Jenny is very accommodating and passionate about her work. The studio is magical and you will always get a wonderful, exceptional experience :)

Me and my girlfriend had an absolutely great time over the 6 week beginner course. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into pottery!

Jenny is an easy going and friendly teacher who creates a great atmosphere to learn in. She is very clear with her instructions and structures each lesson well. Giving you the flexibility to try out your ideas while learning that week's pottery technique.

When we get a chance we'll be taking part in the Level 2 course as well as the full day spin class which we're really looking forward to.

On a side note, the location of Wotpots is really scenic and is lovely to have a little wander round.

I’ve done a number of pottery workshops from family afternoons making a pen pot to Christmas decorations, Mother’s Day mornings making a clock & earrings. As well as my most recent experience having a whole day using a wheel! 🥳
Jenny creates a wonderful fun environment for learning & experimenting with something new. There are plenty of tools, fabrics, bits from nature & shapes to use to cut out pieces, all to assist in letting your creativity run loose!

I've done several Wot Pots' pottery courses, which have been great fun, given me the opportunity to try lots of different techniques, and have resulted in a variety of lovely pieces. The raku day was particularly rewarding with the drama of flames and smoke and the thrill of wondering how my vase would turn out (brilliantly!).
Jenny's instruction is very clear and straightforward to follow and she's an all-round lovely person. Highly recommended.

I have done 4 different courses at Wot Pots (Level 1 and Level 2 6 week courses and Raku twice) and each has been a joy. The studio is set in the most wonderful location which is a real hidden gem. Sending a couple of hours with Jenny in her cute studio is a fabulous way to de-stress and unleash your creativity. Jenny gives clear instructions and is there to support you on your pottery adventures.

Learning pottery at Wot Pots is a fantastic experience. Jenny is a very calm, kind and patient teacher, who takes everyone through every process to make sure that whatever their skill levels at the start of the lesson they can achieve something creative by the end. The two hour lessons fly by, a haven from the bustle of our day jobs, focused on the task in hand, and the satisfaction of making. An absolute joy.

Jenny has made a wonderful little haven at WOTPOTS! Each session I've done there has been a great escape from the usual goings on in life. Jenny is fab - very easy going, encouraging and inspiring!

I’ve been to so many activities with Wotpots over the years with my family and friends from bunting to personalised footprints and handprints of my children. It’s such a lovely atmosphere and the new area is just great! Like a little secret garden! Jenny is great at getting involved in the community and the mushroom making was fabulous with my family. There is so much care taken and such a fun activity

With only an hour and me as a complete novice I was very unsure if I’d be able to make anything at all. But I surprised myself by making a bowl. Brilliant and clear teacher. Would recommend.
