Terrible customer support, AVOID
I've been a Wowie customer for quite a while and have always been happy with their products, especially their pants and shorts. Unfortunately, my first experience with their customer service was extremely disappointing.
I ordered two pairs of pants in the exact same size, just different colors. I tried on one pair and confirmed they fit correctly. Since they were the same model and size, I washed and dried both pairs together. When I later went to wear the second pair, I immediately noticed the sizing was significantly differentâcloser to a 30x28 than the labeled 32x28.
I contacted customer service, explained that the pants had never been worn, and that I reasonably assumed two identical pairs would fit the same. After several back-and-forth emails, I was told they would not exchange the pants because the tags had been removed.
It's frustrating to be stuck with what appears to be a manufacturing or quality-control issue simply because I trusted that two identical items would be sized consistently. As a long-time customer, I expected much better support.

Their online emails tell you they are handling it but no definitive direction on finalizing the return. No way to reach them via phone. The return in the portal doesnât work as it should. Dead end here too. Seems like the emails and chat are all robots with standard responses. Donât waste your time. Deal with people who actually will help and talk to you.

Pd $14 for expedited shipping (2-4 days). Now on day 10 and still no package. Reached out online and was told item was already shipped so they wonât cancel my order per my request. I can return it when it gets here, but I lose the original shipping cost. Plus I have to pay shipping to get it back to them.

I tried a pair of Sapien pants and hate 'em. I know it's contrary to many other reviews. Though I like the fabric, the fit is odd in the thighs and elastic waistband is weak and they slip down. Then the drawstring has this funky looped string that makes it impossible to tighten to compensate for the weak elastic band. Very unsatisfied.
Multiple Wowie Purchases
I have purchased multiple items from Wowie for myself, friends and family. I personally own the War Short, the Nomad Hybrid 3.O, Sapien 2.0 short, Rambler jogger, and the Sapien casual pant. I have been pleased with the quality, design and fit of each of these products with no problems. They are well made, comfortable, and shipped quickly. I would definitely recommend!

Poor Product, Worse Resolution: A Lesson in Customer Loyalty
My ordering experience was good, including delivery, which was prompt. No issues there. However, I experienced an issue with product quality related to their OG shorts line. I would steer clear of this company. Save your money and support a company that stands behind their products because they do not.
For context, I reached out to their customer service team to share my experience, and they offered a 25% off coupon to buy another pair. But honestly, why would I do that when their product isnât holding up? Itâs almost laughable. They really need to take a hard look at their internal processes. The right approach is to replace or refund the product and move on â thatâs how you build customer loyalty. Itâs not rocket science.
Based on other reviews here, it sounds like a common theme. Wowie, do better!

I ordered some over priced pants. When I tried to return them, they never gave me a shipping label or address to complete the return amidst several attempts. Money only goes one way with these guys.

Awful return policy
Strict return policies and then also charging the customer for shipping. You're trying to be a lifestyle brand, but you just sell overpriced pants.
Poor Quality, Poor Fit, Poor Returns Policy
I purchased two shorts from Wowie: Daily Short 5.5" and Sapien 2.0 7". The Daily Short was completely missing the fun/color pocket accents, which is the whole point of this brand. The Sapien 2.0 was poorly tailored with a widening cut from the buttocks to the leg (the exact opposite of how the shorts should be tailored). It reminded me of a tree truck.
When I went to initiate a return, I was informed I would have to pay an additional "handling fee" ($6.95) to get a refund. The only way to avoid the additional "handling fee" is to choose store credit. The handling fee is conveniently omitted from their advertising when they talk about how easy exchanges & returns are, but it is listed on their Returns & Exchanges page. It's not scammy, but also not consumer friendly. I also think the handling fee should have been waived or reduced since the Daily Short 5.5" was missing key features (the colorful accents on the pockets).
