I have fallen into this trap too. I've paid them £3766 in total for mis sold solar panels. Like othets here they say it will take up to 45days to receive the compensation. When I rang all their numbers their in box is full. I have reported it to action fraud. Long running scam. My first contact from them was in October 2024. I am a pensioner on low income and this money represents 3 months rent for me!

Scammers, just received refund from Credit card company. Do not pay them anything upfront for anything at all!

Complete scam. Very believable but no court case ever took place in the high court as Writeful words claimed. They sent a fraudulent letter from “the court” asking for an up front tax payment before the monies held in an account on our behalf could be released. There is no such company as Writeful words, their address is a post box address for appearances sake. They will not answer our calls or emails now and no refund of the £2,500 paid by them. Luckily we used credit cards and have been refunded by the bank. Don’t touch Writeful words with a barge pole.

After promising me all sorts of compensation for the mis-selling of solar panels for over a year, they finally said they had won a class action and I would receive a full refund for my purchase. However, I would have to pay capital gains tax up front before I received my compensation. This never materialised. All attempts to contact them were unanswered. Luckily I paid the "capital gains tax" by credit card and obtained a refund from the card company.

I was contacted by this Company and paid them £1000. They claimed I could get a refund on my Solar Panel purchase cost and that their director, Natalie Hall, had experience in successful Class Actions, through her family.

I sent them a large number of copy documents pertaining to our purchase of our panels from SolarSmart in Canterbury, and our subsequent FIT returns.

Despite paying SolarSmart with four cheques they insisted on claiming refunds from Lloyds Bank. Their letters to Lloyds, which were in my estimation, ‘flowery’

Lloyds turned down my claim because it was (grossly) out of time.

Shortly after this, contact with Writeful Words became more difficult and their sole director Natalie Hall, resigned.

The new sole director is John Colin Charlton; has responded to absolutely no letters or emails.

It appears that Writeful Words in no more than an elaborate scam.

SCAM COMPANY
Don't believe a word they say. They run a long time scan telling you that you are entitled to compensation due to Miss Selling of Solar Panels they get you to pay 10% as a holding fee which you can get back if they are not successful but you can't no matter how much you try. Then after a while they will contact you and tell you they have won a case against Ofgen and that you will get compensation but have to pay Capital Gains Tax once you pay this you will get your compensation but then you never hear from them again, either by phone or email. They have been Reported to ACTION FRAUD by several people.

Absolutely a scam company. They have taken money and are now not responding to any calls emails etc.
They work a long term scam. Respond for some time then disappear.
