Worst customer experience. I returned a fleece, and it took 3 months to receive a partial refund. I was told many false promises/lies throughout the process also. The customer service team couldn’t have cared less.
Very positive experience and great value
I had a really positive experience purchasing through their Amazon store (so this reflects that buying channel and may differ from their direct website logistics).
I found the shoes I was looking for at a truly excellent price, almost too good to be true - probably helped the fact that only my size was left in stock. I even briefly worried such a low price could be a mistake and that the order could get cancelled, but no: the purchase was fully honoured. The great price more than justified the relatively higher delivery cost compared to some competitors, though clearly stated upfront.
Standard delivery to the UK was stated as around three weeks, which is on the long end but I was happy to accept. In reality, the parcel arrived seamlessly in less than half that time. The item was dispatched quickly and the tracking covered the entire journey, which gave real peace of mind.
I would happily buy from them again.

There’s something wrong about the bad ratings of this shop. I was reluctant to order because of it.
I questioned about the stocks on the 1st of January. I was surprised that despite the holidays they answered me on the 02.01.2026. Sent another question, answered the same day.
I could not find them as Patagonia official retailer in general (maybe my fault), but one Patagonia website had their name as wetsuit’s official retailer. I asked Patagonia and they confirmed this shop/seller was legit!
I thought - Well, let’s give it a try and pay with Paypal, to be sure.
Order placed on the 06.01.2026, confirmation email received.
No news on the 12th. I send an email, they answered the same day - “Our "standard" shipping time is 7-8 business days from the time the order is placed…”.
Ok!
Email confirming shipping on the 13.01.2026. A few emails are then received when the package reaches certain places and proper follow-up via GLS website.
Package received on the 19.01.2026!
All in all, it takes some time to treat the orders, and to send from Spain to central Europe, BUT, I have received all my Patagonia items with a very good price, new, with tags. The bag for the packaging could be thicker, there was already a hole in it, but luckily nothing happened to my items.
Ask if stock is available in case of doubt.
If you are patient for the delivery, it pays off!

I also had an issue because i wrote the wrong email address so I didn’t get tracking updates. I emailed them and they replied right away with the tracking details. Great service overall

Ordered winter wetsuit. Price to good to be true... Tracking number GLS, but nonsense with item completing a circle to original location. Comms quick response, but lies and not helpful. Xmas present as well. £200 out of pocket. Reporting to financial fraud team.

I placed an order on November 28 and received it by December 3 in Portugal.

Placed an order, got a mail saying its going to a central warehouse for despatch, got an email saying it had arrived and ready for despatch, five days later I emailed and asked where my order was? They said on the way to the central warehouse and would take another 2 days!! Then despatch maybe another days depending on customs! I complained, no apology and no date when my order could be delivered
Avoid this company - Terrible service and scam
I placed an order over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been packaged or shipped. We've entered a new month and there's been zero progress on my order.
This level of service is completely unacceptable and appears to violate EU consumer protection laws regarding delivery timeframes. The lack of communication and failure to fulfill orders in a reasonable time suggests this may be a fraudulent operation.
Do not purchase from this company. Save yourself the frustration and potential financial loss. There are many legitimate retailers who actually deliver what they promise.

Avoid 44Boardshop – Terrible Customer Service & Legal Violations 🚨
I strongly warn against purchasing from 44Boardshop due to their complete disregard for consumer rights and appalling customer service. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating, and their handling of my issue was both legally and ethically unacceptable.
What happened?
I purchased a Jacket & Chakal Pants for €600. The products were defective from the start:
The jacket's snowbelt hook broke on day one
The pants had scuffs, pulls, and small cuts within days of use
The materials were far too fragile for skiing or snowboarding
Breaches of Consumer Rights
When I contacted 44Boardshop, they violated multiple EU consumer laws:
Failure to provide a timely refund (Article 18, Directive 2011/83/EU) – Once a return is accepted, retailers must refund customers within 14 days. Instead, I was strung along for six weeks, with constant excuses.
Avoiding their legal responsibility (Directive 2019/771 on the Sale of Goods) – They tried to push responsibility onto the manufacturer (North Face), even though EU law states that the seller, not the brand, is responsible for defective products.
Lack of transparency and delays – Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide a timeframe for my refund, violating consumer rights.
Unprofessional and sarcastic customer service – After all the delays, they had the audacity to end their last email with "thank you for your (not) patience." This kind of attitude towards paying customers is unacceptable.
Final Resolution?
After weeks of chasing them, I had to file a chargeback with my bank, a complaint with the European Consumer Centre (ECC), and initiate mediation through the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to force them to comply with the law. Even then, they falsely claimed I had already received a refund when I hadn’t!
Final Verdict: AVOID THIS STORE! 🚨
They ignore EU consumer laws
They delay refunds excessively
They push responsibility onto the manufacturer
Their customer service is unprofessional and rude
If you don’t want to risk losing your money or dealing with endless frustration, DO NOT buy from 44Boardshop. There are plenty of other trustworthy retailers who respect their customers and abide by the law!
