What goes around comes around, he's terrible at his job and not worth the bother

Poor workmanship, inferior products,if this is what you want go here!

The fitters where excellent but the staff in shop where great would definitely buy again

We have purchased an Alexander Smith carpet, SKU ABB140 Sparkling Cider. This is a loop carpet. We will be seeking a replacement as the loops frequently are pulled out by our THIRD vacuum. the strands pulled out are from one inch to about six inches, and over these last four years those strands equal about three feet. My advice is NEVER buy a loop carpet.

Terrible
We bought a carpet, The carpet fitter (from Abbey Carpets) put a hole in a visible pipe that came out the floor (so was very visible). It was a slow leak and soaked the new carpet. Of course these things happen. We weren’t even looking for a new replacement carpet. Just for them to pay to have the wet one cleaned. They got arsey and refused. We had to replace the radiator as well.

Very unprofessional

Good service could improve if when the item is shipped to give an indication who the carrier is and approximate delivery date.
Other than that would happily use them again.

Only a small order but handled very well and arrived in a few days, no complaints 👍

Good choice of products and prompt service

It was the first time I have used Abbey Carpets. I requested samples which arrived very quickly and were all easily identified. Ordered the carpet of our choice which again arrived quickly. Carpet was from Abbey's bathroom range and was of good quality and looks very good now installed. Team provided an excellent service, thank you. I will be ordering again from them and they come highly recommend.

Honest people. They quickly refunded me for an online order which they could not get from a wholesaler. Then, easy to discuss a replacement order on the telephone. You get through to someone who speaks clearly, is pleasant and knows what they have in stock.. What I ordered the second time came quickly

Having bought the best quality underlay at top price. The items I received were DAMAGED.. The fitters were booked, so I had no choice to use the damaged goods.
Very disappointed with the damage materials. I will not be buying again from Abbey Carpets .

I had difficulty ordering on line as the order went through without payment. I had to contact by phone but everything went well from then on. Good delivery time.

The carpet was just what I was looking for. I ordered a 3m length but what i received was only 1.85 m. I rang the let them know and they were very apologetic and offered a new carpet or a refund. I accepted the refund and was paid into my bank account very quickly. Because of the good service, I have given them a 5***** rating.

They measured my flooring, so after it was completed I was left with 8 sheets of beading, also 2 packs of wood. The reason I didn't measure myself was so I wouldn't be paying extra for what I didn't need. The mess that was left was unbelievable. I had to call the fitter to get him back as he had left nails sticking out beading, he never nailed some of the beading to wall. I never bothered calling Abbey flooring as I just tried to get over the bad experience, however when backnin their shop to purchase door bars he asked me how I liked my flooring so I told him all of the above, he made excuses for the issues and never once apologised for anything, an angry man who was very aggressive and passive on my issues. He told me to bring the beading back, not he will collect it, I've to return it even though I told him I don't drive. Customer service skills and human empathy just didn't match with the gents I was dealing with, not the attitude I got before I handed him £800 of my cash. Appalling customer service.

My order was dispatched but not delivered by the carrier. Abbey Carpets were really helpful - looked into it, phoned back as they said they would, and dispatched a replacement. Recommended!

Everything arrived as quoted and well packaged. Did the job admirably. Would use again without hesitation
