Abbott-Wade Staircases レビュー

When had a rather dated metal stairway which was letting the rest of the property down and so we shopped around for companies which could supply a wood & glass replacement which would complement the rest of the house.
After speaking with a number of organisations we settled on Abbott Wade and were not disappointed. The chap who conducted the initial survey was thorough and as importantly listened to our thoughts but then made alternative suggestions to give us as many options as possible before we made our final decision.
Once settled the installation date was quickly forthcoming and when the day arrived the technicians were speedy, respectful and left a job which we are totally happy with and make us wonder why we hadn't done it years earlier. We should also add that the price was well below that quoted by other companies without compromising on quality.
Well done Abbott Wade.

I contacted Abbott-Wade for a quotation to replace our old staircase with something more modern. From our initial phone call we were able to speak to a real person, something that is rare these days, and we were made to feel that our custom was important to the company.

A visit to our home was arranged, where we were able to choose the precise style and items we liked best. The whole process was smooth and unhurried, and we never felt pressured at any time. Shortly afterwards we received a fair and very competitive quotation. Initially, we were unable to proceed as planned, but when we did contact the company again, a few months later, they honoured our original quote which we felt was very fair.

The two technicians arrived on time and worked diligently. All work was completed in less than two days. The whole area was cleaned, all waste removed and we were delighted with the end result. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend Abbott-Wade should you be looking for a similar staircase installation.

Listened to what we wanted and gave constructive ideas back. The fitters worked so well and kept us informed of what they were doing and were very attentive to the job and their attention to detail was spot on and we were so pleased with the finished result and would highly recommend Abbot-Wade staircases.

We recently had a glass and oak staircase fitted, so delighted with the look and finish, the installation was excellent and the fitters removed all the previous 70’s style under stairs cupboard which shows off the lovely sleek and modern look. Could not fault the quality and professionalism of Abbott Wade. Highly recommend 🏅

We ordered a glass and oak staircase from Abbott-Wade as the centrepiece of our refurbished hall, stairs and landing. From the initial enquiry to completion of the work, the company were a pleasure to deal with. Communication was excellent and clear, with the pricing structure explained in detail, enabling us to make an informed choice.

Jake and Tom the installers were polite, efficient and very tidy, and delivered a superbly finished product in less than day. A minor issue which arose out an oversight on our part was remedied with absolutely no fuss or quibble within a couple of days of our noticing it and informing the company.

In summary an excellent company to deal with in terms of the outstanding quality of both their product and customer service.

Great workmanship. Really happy with the end result.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
Fitters were polite and cleaned up after each job.
5* service

Had a beautiful glass staircase fitted by Abbot Wade. We were really impressed with the ease of dealing with this company. Their customer service is excellent.
Recently had another workman in to fit a carpet upstairs but unfortunately he caught and scratched the staircase in several places. We contacted Abbot Wade and they arranged for one of their fitters to call round and repair the damage for us. They not only replaced the damaged pieces but didn’t charge for the parts.
Once again their customer service was outstanding

Another fantastic build from Abbottwade. I recommended this company to my parents after being so satisfied with our staircase which was completed in December last year. My parents opted for the black steel spindles which are new on the market with Oak staircase. It looks really smart. highly recommended. 5*

Abbott-Wade Staircases were professional, reliable, timely and good communicators. Their standard of work was outstanding because it was flawless. Whilst on site they were polite and extremely hard working. I would highly recommend this company.

Abbott Wade were great. It was an investment in the house as part of our renovations and we are delighted with the finished staircase.

We called Abbott-Wade and within a week Ray came over to give us some initial ideas and options. We were not fully decided on which finish in terms of colour and whether we were going to opt for a wooden handrail or in fact a stainless steel one (which is what we eventually went for). However, thanks to Ray, he gave us so many examples and sent many pictures as well as leaving us the samples that allowed us to make an informed decision. Ray was with us every step of the way and was so helpful on the phone, in person and through text messages via WhatsApp. At no point at all was Ray pushy and trying to force a sale through, he was more interested in making sure we were happy and were going to choose something that we really would be over the moon with once it was done. We had other companies, both local and national come to give us a price and go through their samples but Abbott Wade was not only the best price but they were the most approachable and in our opinion the best all round company. We then had a surveyor, Joe come out to survey and like Ray, he was friendly, helpful and reassuring as to what the process would be. He gave us an idea as to what the final staircase would look like and also gave us some very useful and helpful tips in how to incorporate the lighting into the strings. We cannot forget about Lana, Eddie and Rachel in the office who gel everything together. It is always a pleasure speaking to every member of the office team. They are all so friendly, helpful and their customer service skills are excellent. Having a team like that is so important as they keep you informed and are also very knowledgable in the sense that they know what everyone else is doing (you do get some companies who don’t know what is going on and they keep you waiting for days with no answers). They are so easy to get on with and always love the conversations on the phone with them. Then we come to the workmanship - Jason and Jake were magnificent. It was a pleasure having them over to do the work as they were really friendly and professional. I do need to point out here that Jason deserves a special mention, he is so unbelievably good at his job and to top it off he is such a nice person. Jake is also so nice and friendly and hard working. The guys made sure my floor was protecting and at all times our house was always kept tidy. All the rubbish was taken away and the guys cleaned after themselves (unlike some other companies) My overall amazement as to how great the staircase looks is a huge compliment to the whole team. Every point of the job was done when and how they said it would be and I was always informed. So I need to finish off by saying thank you very much to each and every single one of the team - you have all between you provided me which a statement in my home in the form of a wonderful, classy and stylish staircase - all done in great spirits with wonderful individuals!

The workers were good and problems rectified to our satisfaction

Excellent service from start to finish
My stairs look awesome

Very easy process designing and purchasing stairs with AW. From the moment we contacted them, through to the finished product, extremely happy with the service and quality of the end result.

We had a staircase renovation a year ago and the service, quality and finish exceeded our expectations.

A year on, the staircase looks as good as the day it was installed and delights us each and every day. In fact the oak colour has bettered with age!

We had several quotes for the new oak staircase but Abbot-Wade initially impressed us with the enthusiasm of the salesman/designer, the quality of the samples and the thoroughness of the renovation design as they were able to completely replace all the newel posts including a 3m length one!
[other companies had suggested the 3m newel post could only be replaced at the top end which would have been unsightly and require that the lower, older section to be cladded and therefore be a wider cross-sectional area to the new section of newel post attached above it...not a good look).

We are delighted with the quality, finish and look of our new oak staircase. We are so pleased that we spent more to have our treads and risers in oak too. This enhances the look of the new staircase even more and the anti-slip surface works very well.

A very professional service from the initial phone call, following on to the salesman/designer’s visit, the surveyor, the fitting, and the aftercare team. All the staff we had dealings with were polite, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and punctual. Nothing was too much trouble.

When it came to the removal of the old staircase and fitting of the new one, it was a pleasure to have the fitters in our house and they were very neat and tidy and completed the job in just 2 days. We spotted a few minor scratches after the fitting and the aftercare team sent out a ‘magician’ within a few days who made them disappear! Then we had a small problem with fitting a new landing carpet over the old bullnose at the very top of the stairs and once again, the aftercare team quickly arranged for the fitting team to call back to fit a new bullnose to secure the landing carpet properly.

You could not wish for a better quality product and service and reassurance of excellent aftercare should it be required.

Our experience with salesman and fitters was excellent.
We had an oak and glass refurbished staircase at our previous house so knew what we should expect. The experience on the whole was better and the price was very competitive as we had a quote from the company we used previously and they were much dearer!

Great product. Very efficient. Great team. Perfect finish. Exceed all expectations. Transformed our house.

A very professional service throughout the entire process. We are delighted with the finished product and are more than happy to recommend them.

We are delighted with the glass & oak staircase that we’ve had fitted by Abbott Wade. From the initial visit, up to the actual fitting, the service was second to none. The actual fitters were professional and they ensured everywhere was kept tidy and clean. Our hall and stairs look beautiful and light; it’s more of a room than a hallway!
We will definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you so much.

I can high recommend Abbott-Wade Staircases. From my initial enquiry to the final part of the installation, I found them to be second to none. The professionalism and attention to detail is fantastic. This has made a huge difference to the entrance in our home and we are so pleased.
Well done Abbot-Wade.
