Aberdein Considine has done power of attorney for both me and my wife a couple of years ago and in September this year did Last Will and Testament for us both. I bought my house with Aberdein considine. During the viewing stage, i had communication with a ver helpful, efficient and understanding Vicky Brown. She answered many of questions and emails when my mind was constantly changing. During the mortgage process, i was supported and guided by Scott Brown who filled me with great confidence and explained everything i was unsure about. He also helped with our life insurance and critical illness. All in all, a very positive experience with knowledgeable staff.

Recently sold a property in Aberdeen. Setting up the marketing was easy enough. All the agents involved were communicative and I appreciated their time on the sale.
There were 2 main issues - the property keys were lost and I was not informed for 7 days. I found out by chance over the phone when I asked if they would co-ordinate contractors entry to the property.
I was told they were aware of the issue the week prior and had forgotten to call. Keys being lost happens but not being immediately communicated this mean that works were delayed & the security of the property compromised.
Those involved were very apologetic and offered a Facebook package (and cost of cutting new keys) for my trouble of supplying and sending new keys. This was stressful and gave me the impression that they require better coordination.
The second issue- not as problematic but annoying- as the lack of for sale signs. A window sign was installed but, after a few days of Aberdonian weather, it fell off. A few months later, on my return to the property there were no signs- I had to request new signs to be posted. I didn’t not expect for the property to be monitored, however there was not any marketing on the property, I’m surprised this was missed and multiple other properties on the street were being sold through the same company.
Overall, I had an average experience.
