Stay away from these guys. Whatever you read in the previous messages, they are not more — they are actually less.

This company provides zero support and hides behind phones that are not answered and emails that does not get answered. I urge all accountants to not consider this entity as a solution to their business. They exceed in lack of customer support.

If I could give no stars I would. By far the WORST support or lack thereof you will ever receive (or not receive) from a product. This is my last year using this product. I am SO tired of the lack of support. You will NEVER talk to a live person and god help you if something goes wrong because NO one will actually help you.

Beware of their billing tactics. They collect your credit care info and charge you without any prior intimation. You get no support whatsoever later on. Most unprofessional, I'd never do business with them.

Terrible since IRIS took over. They have insane amount of 'extra' fees, professional fee's and automatic inflation adjustments to your prices. Their customer service is a joke, you can never get anyone on the line(Except for sales, go figure). I have used them for 8 years, and will now be switching. Their software is a joke and their cost is absurd for what they offer. STAY AWAY!

The best customer service! Cindy is very professional, always return phone calls, explain and help with the passion and great attitude.

I have been using Accountant World by IRIS for a while now, and I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Every time I call, it takes multiple attempts to get through, and often, no one answers. When I leave my contact information, it is very hard to get back to me. The representatives I have spoken to are unprofessional, making it very frustrating to resolve issues. There is no reliable way to reach someone if I have any concerns. Overall, the customer service experience has been terrible.

This has gotten worse since IRIS took over. The prefunding switch they mandated is a total headache. And today, they are closed and didn't deposit any employee's paychecks for any of the 11/29/24 payrolls as scheduled! I've been trying to reach anyone there. The only one to pick up was sales who said she couldn't help and transferred me to VM. Now I can't get anyone to pick up.

I have been using these firm for than 10 years. I had some issues before but the most recent issue lead to this review. We had an issue with one account for direct deposit, that was fraudulent. Instead of really helping to solve this issue, they provided some unrelated to this response. They close they tickets in zendesk right away without getting any feed. If you care about your clients, I would stay away from this company.

My accountant uses this service for my payroll. AccountantsWorld processed a payment for me on 8/2/2024 and the funds have not posted to date on 8/8/2024. The money that has not posted is nowhere to be found. I called the company to discuss the issue, and the representative hung up on me. I would not recommend using this service.

I like the idea of the product and that they don't sell to the general public like QB's does. The set up process has been terrible. I don't have anyone holding my hand through it like I thought I would so i've been figuring it out mostly on my own and that makes the transition a lot longer. I have not been impressed with the support team. Usually, they seem irritated that I contacted them at all. My biggest complaint is the support. That's something a software company should be big on, I would assume.

We been using accountant’s world since 2019. With recently being acquired, it is a mess. They are changing policies right and left. They need 5 days lead time for tax deposits, which is insane. The pre-fund recon is a mess. We are spending so much time to help client with reconciliations. Up until last year, we had very good experience.

We've used Payroll Relief for two years, and while it's very expensive and not at all user friendly (with slow support responses), we were reasonably satisfied until last month. We had already paid the renewal fees (did I mention expensive?), when a week later they announced that they were going to REQUIRE all companies move to pre-funding their taxes (withdrawing and holding the taxes the company will owe, sometimes for months at the time the payroll is done). Our clients do NOT want to do pre-funding. We left another large payroll company years ago because they were going to require pre-funding. I called and spoke with customer service, asking for an exception to this and they refused. We will lose all of our clients if we REQUIRE them to pre-fund, so now we have to find another payroll solution. I also asked for a refund and have not heard anything back. This is nothing more than a bait-and-switch tactic, waiting until they have our money and then announcing a change that we have not choice to decline. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS.

I have been using the Payroll Relief / Accountants World platform since 2012 and I have not been disappointed. This year I received a call to remind me of my renewal, and I had the pleasure of talking to Mrs. Cindy Odell. She took the time to explain the software options for purchase/billing. Thanks to her explanations we may be able to save a significant amount on the costs of using the software. Thank you Cindy, we will keep your suggestions in mind!

AW is a WONDERFUL program for us accountants. I have used at least 5 other accounting/payroll programs over the past 30 years and I can attest to the professionalism of everyone I have ever encountered at AW whether it has been in support, billing, or practical application of any of the products offered. The programs are REALLY EASY to use, based on common sense and designed by people who know exactly what tools we need to build reports that make sense to our clients. I am a happy customer!!!

I've been using AW for over 15 years and have always had incredible customer service with Carol. Her knowledge of the software and ease guiding me through unusual situations has been instrumental in our growth. AW is the way to go to provide payroll services!

The best thing about this company is that every time I have had a questions and speak directly to a customer service rep, it is clear they have extensive experience with payroll and have been working for the company for many years. Todays call also resulted in me saving about $1,500/year by the representative looking at my account and realizing I could benefit from a different billing program.
