I followed the APS training with John Coleman as our instructor and I'm glad I did. John gaves us loads of information and theory, but we got plenty of practice as well so we could apply what we've just learnt. The course was very engaging and we were able to ask him everything we wanted to know.

I recently attended the PSM Level 1 Scrum training delivered by John Coleman and it was a transformative experience. John’s expertise and ability to connect theory with practical scenarios made the sessions incredibly valuable. He took the time to explore the attendees real life examples and for me this greatly helped cement what I was doing correct and what area’s I needed to improve on.

John’s anecdotes and real life experiences interspersed with the formal learning made the course very informative for me, as he shared experiences I had experienced. Just learning scrum without real life experiences would not have been interesting for me as I have worked with project for years. I left feeling like I have learnt the foundations of scrum but am equipped to explore more.

John is obviously highly experienced and related the taught (PSM) content to real situations as well as teaching some very useful tools for interaction.

I have attended a PAL-EBM class led by John and I highly recommend his trainings. He is amazingly knowledgable, really attentive, engaging and a great teacher that creates instant connection. The way he approaches the training is creating a lot of engagement and accelerates the learnings. His expertise is a gem for the curious and John is very generous with his experience and time. He is always ready for questions from our day to day challenges and helps a lot with the pre- and post-training materials for reading and watching. I found learning with John interesting. He doesn’t just teach the Scrum framework to pass the exam but also teaches how to apply it on the job. I much prefer learning this way rather than just learning straight from a book. He also makes the learning interactive which helps make learning Scrum easier and more enjoyable. Overall it was a good experience.

John was super passionate, friendly, and didn’t teach in a typical manner. He was different, enthusiastic, and incorporated humour into the lessons. Thank you John! Although, I wish lessons were a little longer, maybe one day more?

John is a well seasoned and highly insightful instructor. He took time to help me understand the Scrum practices and gave practical examples that I plan on applying to my work.
