I’ll definitely recommend Ash to any parent with kids sitting 11 plus exam. We took our twins to ACE tuition for 2 years, first year was in class and second year online due to COVID in 2020/2021. Ash has a style hard work which is really worth it; well tailored tuition with consistently lots of homework, tricks, ideas and most importantly relevant materials with kids and parental involvement.

One of our twins had full maximum score in Kent, scored 423; one was in first 180 for Bexley; boy got place in St Olaves and girl got Newstead Wood, they both passed Sevenoaks Private as well.

Ash is an excellent tutor. He is very helpful. We initially contacted him before we move to England. He supplied us with instructions on how to accommodate and get used for the British system. All over the year, he was supporting , giving very good exam tricks and continuously posting online mock tests. His August mock tests are suburb. After his tuition, the exam was very easy for my son. He rocked with a high score and was offered his first choice grammar school in Kent. Thanks so much Ash for all your efforts.

Both my daughters have went to Ace Tuition considering that my eldest daughter passed Bexley, Kent and Newstead. Unfortunately because of covid, my youngest daughter had her lessons online but Ash still helped her and her class. Ash’s techniques and strategies definitely help when it comes to the 11+. Now my eldest daughter is going to Townley and my youngest will be starting there this year. Thank you Ash.

We joined in year4, all the way til end Year5. Ash is excellent experinced Tutor. Our daughter aced Bexley, kent and Newstead.

Our daughter had Ash as a tutor for 2 years. The first was in person with a class the second year was online due to covid. She passed the Kent Test, the Bexley Selection and to our surprise she also scored well over the required standard to gain a place at Newstead Wood School. In the end she wanted a mixed school and she will start at Bexley Grammar this September. Ash's teaching was invaluable. Often when I would go through papers with her she would tell me that I was doing it the hard way and that Ash had shown them a much quicker technique. The mock papers Ash provided in the last few months made all the difference I think. The level of difficulty increased and the time available decreased progressively with each paper and I put a lot of our daughter's success down to these papers as the real test seemed easier than the tests she had practiced. I am very pleased to have had Ash teach our daughter and I hope that our son can study with him in a couple of years time.

My son sat the 11 plus exams in 2020 and attended Ace tuition prior to his exams for a year. We also registered him for independent school exams (Including Sevenoaks, Eton and Harrow).

All I can say is if there was ever a tutor to motivate your child and make them believe in themselves it is Ash! It was a lot of hardwork - he does give ALOT of homework 😀 but it was well worth it!!!

My son passed every single exam he sat with almost full points in his Kent 11 plus 421/423, which granted him a place in Dartford Grammar ( even though we are considered out of area )
With Ash’s advice we went down the prep school option (with scholarship) as Ash believed our son would do well in a school like Eton or Harrow.

He has now received offers to both Eton and Harrow and we are having to make a choice

Ash gave clear and specific guidance to our kid for the 11 Plus exams. He helped us in prioritising areas to focus on and what and when should be practised during different steps of the process. His guidance was immensely useful and our kid cleared Independent schools like Westminster, KCS and SPS

He follows a set of books in a sequence that gradually consolidates the fundamentals and prepares children thoroughly for the exams.
His mock tests are very close to actual test especially Kent Test. Yes, he is strict and disciplined but this ensures that kids are focused during the sessions.

My boy started Ace 11+ tuitions in the beginning of year 5 and thoroughly enjoyed his sessions. He has passed several Grammar school tests with high scores and have successfully received an offer from City of London Boys, our first choice.

My daughter started Ace tuition in year 4 and it really helped her prepare for the 11+. Ash’s teaching is very engaging, giving his students great tips to ace the exam. He transitioned seamlessly to online tutions during lockdown and even extended the lessons when the exam got postponed. Neela had an amazing experience at Ace tuition and got into Tonbridge Grammar School with the help of Ace tutions. My only feedback be would that Ash can be slightly curt with his communication with parents. It would great if he can improve his style of communication but I believe that this is only a small downside to his incredible teaching.

Thanks to Ash, our daughter was offered her first choice at Townley Grammar. She joined in Year 5 and from the get go, it was a 3 way collaborative effort between Ash, the parents and the child to get her ready for 11+. Even when lockdown happened, the transition to online classes was seamless and the quality of education was maintained. Ash expects discipline from both the child and the parents, so if you are considering ACE tuition, you will need to set your expectations right and make sure you and your child are prepared to put in the effort.

Through the entire 11 plus journey, we only had Ash as 11+ tutor. My daughter likes him. As a parent, Sincerely, I would say he is a very strict tutor. He organised the lesson very good and he knows the 11+ process very well. Now my daughter got into Henrietta Barnett School. Thanks to Ash again for all his help for my daughter during the 11+ journey.

My son Oliver has enjoyed very much Ash tutoring, he has tried before other tutors but highly recommends Ash. It was a lot of hard work to keep up with the demands from the tutoring but was all worth it.
