Still pending arrival of my item 7 weeks since ordering with absolutely no updates on delivery. Do not order from this site.

Ordered 2 jumpers and got nothing . They take your money and all emails are then just lies. Over 2 months and no delivery and no refund. Low life scum.

Paid for size 45 shoes. Received size 43.
After back and forward emails, I have achieved nothing.
No correct size shoes delivered.
No request for a refund.
Service is atrocious.

This a sham company .

Goods haven't arrived, tracking showing nothing after 3 weeks & refuse to reply to my emails. I've reported them to my bank as a scam.

⚠️ WARNING: Aether Melbourne is NOT an Australian business — do not buy from them

I purchased two men's knit jumpers from Aether Melbourne (order #2880, $143.91 AUD). There was no material description on their website, and when the items arrived they turned out to be polyester/spandex — a material I cannot wear.

Here's what followed when I tried to get a refund:

🔴 FALSE IDENTITY: Despite the name "Aether Melbourne" and an Australian-looking website, their email domain is @ajsmartsystems.nl (Netherlands) and returns go to a distribution centre in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China. They are NOT a Melbourne — or even Australian — business.

🔴 MOVING GOALPOSTS ON REFUNDS: Over the course of several weeks they offered me 15% → then 30% → then 35% partial refund, or a full refund if I shipped the item to China at my own cost and risk. They stated return shipping to China could be $30–$50+ — a significant portion of my $143.91 purchase.

🔴 BROKEN PROMISE: On 9 May 2026, they confirmed in writing they would process a 35% partial refund with no return required. 2 weeks later — nothing. No refund, no follow-up, no responses.

🔴 MISLEADING CONDUCT: Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses cannot engage in misleading or deceptive conduct. Presenting as a Melbourne company while operating from overseas and failing to honour a written refund commitment appears to breach this.

This matches patterns reported by many other customers on Reddit, Trustpilot, and YouTube — promises of refunds followed by silence ("ghosting").

Be very careful before purchasing from Aether Melbourne or any store with the @ajsmartsystems.nl email domain.

Scam. Ordered a month ago. Nothing delivered, no tracking information available and they have not answered my messages.

If I could rate no stars i would. They responded to a few emails stating my parcel will be delivered now no response and the website has closed down.

Scammers - paid for some goods a month ago and no delivery - responded to my emails a few times with 'be patient' but now quiet - and web site closed down. Stay clear

Absolute rubbish. The corduroy trousers I ordered and paid $143.00 for were exactly the same as trousers previously ordered through Temu for $14.00. Do not buy from this company.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I purchased 2 jackets - when they arrived they were nothing like the items pictured, they were so much shorter than shown and the sizing was inaccurate- do not buy from them. Then they suggested I had to send them back to China myself doe a refund when they advertise they are in Melbourne.

The product was from China, material very cheap and nothing like my order of a Jacket, was told if I want to return the product it would cost me 30 euro as it needs to be returned to China the other option is get 15% discount. Its total false advertising and will never buy from this fake company again It also too over a month for delivery

I thought I purchased a quality product from a Australian family owned company, doubts were raised by my son who alerted me that SHIEN also had the same product, thus I bought both items.
SHIEN cost $20 and arrived from China within 2 weeks, AETHER cost $80 and arrived from China 4 weeks later without the AETHER label , both items were the same quality.

We placed an order for pants on the 9/3/2026 on the 22/3/2026 the order showed delivered to local carrier.
The tracking number was not on the carriers website. After repeated attempts to find the location of the package ( all unsuccessful and were told be patient) we lodged a complaint with PayPal and they refunded the money. Would not deal with this company.

Quality is terrible. Looks like it’s a Melbourne store but seems to be in China. Very delayed delivery and impractical returns policy. Avoid at all costs

Firstly - website shows 2900+ customer reviews on Trustpilot, yet Trustpilot reports zero reviews for this company. Domain URL 100% match and zero reviews.
Second - quality and materials are basic. Purchased a pair of jogger pants, paid $65, suggested markdown from $150, quality is $35 at best.
Third - presented as Melbourne origin by name, shipped directly from china.
