This is purely about food, I have nothing bad to say about DFDS as a ferry company and getting you coast to coast, they are brilliant at that and the staff are equally deserving of praise. In the dining area, outlandish pricing for below average meals, like reheated, or over kept chips. small fish the size of big fish fingers, not worth the cost of them. If it were a cheap meal, it would be acceptable,

We arrived at the Port 1.5 hrs prior to sailing after an overnight stay in Dover. Due to delays in processing(including a motorbike whose credit card did not work, delay 15 min.- they should be removed from the line) and we & others did not get our planned ferry to Calais & had to take Dunkirk. This was greatly inconvenient & time wasting due to management of people who arrive at DFDS without the right documents. Why not take them out of the line & process them somewhere else? Without these people, clients would make the ferries. I think I am entitled to a refund for the inconvenience that was totally unnecessary.

Perfect Timing,friendly staff, nice sitting in Premiere Lounge Drinks we're served - good variety But the Food die Lunch was just some random Sandwiches - the ones they served hot we're mit good - bread got mushy. So sad there was no outside deck..

A really bad experience due to the 3 hour queue for customs which meant we missed our ferry (despite arriving two hours before the departure time, as advised by DFDS). We were put on the next ferry but it messed up our holiday plans in France. I know that the decision to only operate three passport control booths is one for the French government and Dover port, not DFDS, but this was a really poor travel experience nonetheless.
