Enamel bakeware is suitable for dishwasher use. Should the dish be hand washed, then a mild detergent must be used. Abrasive cleaners should be avoided. It is advisable to treat the surface as a glass product and not to tap, hit, or drop the pan, nor should metal utensils be used in the pan, as this may cause the enamel to flake or chip.
