Plane only has two toilets which are right at the back for the majority of the passengers while the few businesses passengers at the front have their own. They announced that you are not allowed to access the toilets during the service time so consequently once you can use them there is a massive queue. The food was unrecognisable and inedible and hardly any water was offered and even when it was it was given out in little cups
Our return flight was four hours delayed with no explanation given.
If there was an alternative carrier to use to get to the Seychelles next time I would definitely use it

just informed that our joburg to mahe flight is 4 hrs delayed. a very bad start to our 40th wedding anniversary to the Seychelles

We were very unhappy with the Hi Fly /Air seychelles flight from Mahe to Paris today on 3d of April 2026 , flight HM1008 with airbus 330-300. We flew their business class:

1. There was literally NO bottled water for every business class passanger. Water was served in small 100 ml cups. You need to stand and go to Stewardesses to get your water "portion" , because they never ask.
On my first attempt we got a bottle of water for two of us. On my second attempt, few hours later, i was informed that there is not enough water and they can not give me a bottle. I asked for a glass of water and coke then. The stewardess accepted my order but NEVER delivered it. Even after we switched the help-light (both of us).
The Crew literally ignored our help light for around 45 Minutes and then started to serve a meal for all passengers.... while still ignoring the lights. They did not bother to ask whats wrong and switched it off without even talking to us at the end of the flight. We did not ask for alcohol or juices... Just water. And there was NONE.
Is it enough to give an Adult few 100 ml Cups of water for a 10 Hour flight???
Besides that at the end of the flight we have noticed that a couple behind us got 2 bottles of water (each one had one bottle). I find it just a pure ignorance to offer such an unfair service for business class passengers. Some passengers get even two bottles per couple , others barley get one... And we asked for more and never got it.

2. No Onboard entertainment included. Passengers could play with their mobile phones and connect to some wifi onboard, but for this you need a mobile phone , your own headphones and enough battery life. The mobile screen is also small. The Options for music and movies very limited!

3. Food was just Horrible! It was the worst food experience on a business class trip we have ever had.
There was no menu and the quality of food was extremely low. It was served in aluminum foil , with plastik fork. No tee, no coffee offered.

4. Dirty cabin. The buttons were wiped with alcohol wet towels and they were so dirty that only after third towel the towels were not black anymore.

5. No Amenity Kit. For a 10 Hour flight no slippers, no toothbrush, no headphones, no ear plugs and so on..

We will definitely not fly again with your airlines and do not recommend anyone!

I have not received my money back from Air Seychelles since over a month, absolutely horrific customer service, incredible. This behaviour is absolutely unprofessional and unbelievable.

Schlechtester Service (vorab!) seit ich denken kann. Canceln einfach den Flug und stellen einfach vor vollendete Tatsachen. Einsicht, dass der Kaufpreis erstattet wird Fehlanzeige. Alternativen anbieten Fehlanzeige. Irgendwelche Entschuldigungen oder Gutscheine Fehlanzeige!

Furchtbarer Service in einem verschlissenem Flugzeug auf dem Flug von Paris nach Mahé und zurück.
Die Sitze waren verschmutzt und total verschlissen, Bier und Weißwein lauwarm, das Essen mies und Matsche und die Kabinen Crew beim Hinflug total ignorant (die Portugiesische Crew beim Rückflug war der einzige Lichtblick).
Und ja man hat irgendwo im Kleingedrucktem angekündigt, das ein „Entertainment System“ nur mit eigenen Devices läuft, aber erstens hat nicht jeder Eines dabei (Mobilephone ausgenommen) und zweitens ist das Angebot uralt.
Fazit: nie wieder!

Sehr schlechter Service, Flug wurde einfach storniert ohne Grund. In der Email war die Rede von einer Alternative, leider wird uns diese nicht vorgeschlagen. Wir haben bereits 3 Mal Air Seychelles angeschrieben, keine Reaktion, sehr frustrierend. Auch keine Rückerstattung bisher. Sehr schlechtes Vorgehen, da wir zeitnah nach einem anderen Flug schauen sollten.

Avril 2026: Nous avons eu une annulation sur Quatar Airways pour aller aux Seychelles, due à la guerre avec l’Iran. Nous nous sommes rabattus sur un direct Seychelles Airways Paris-Mahé….en business!
Épouvantable. Aucun service, pas de films, les grands écrans ont été désactivé et remplacé par une connexion qui permet de voir quelques vieux films….sur son téléphone. Pas d’écouteurs ni de casque non plus.
Pour le petit déjeuner, ils vous apportent trois fois rien…au milieu de la nuit, puis ferment les hublots et les lumières pour que chacun puisse dormir.
Pas la moindre petite trousse de toilette….
Il faut demander à au moins trois hôtesses pour avoir un verre d’eau pétillante. Pour aller aux Seychelles
Beaucoup moins bien qu’une compagnie low cost « normale », pour un prix 8x plus cher.

Very poor.
- Food was terrible
- Entertainment system not working on a 10hrs flight.
- Seats hard and uncomfortable.
- no hot drinks on a 10hrs flight.

Totally disaster. Response from support after one month and three time must urgu 3 times. No refund and totally ignored what happen on the Middle East. About refund docx document and not any digital solutions its wasting of word here

Air Seychelles are thieves. They do not respond to emails, they don't pick up the phone or rather they answer and the immediately hang up when they realise it is an international number. So despite seeing the news about the closure of airspace in the Middle east and the knock on effect that has prevented onward travel to the Seychelles, air Seychelles think that not returning payments, not communicating at all and effectively stealing customer moneys somehow going to make people return to them. Their attitude effectively means fewer tourists will think of visiting. So for the sake of Air Seychelles stealing a couple of hundred dollars; the thousands of dollars that would have been spent on the islands will now not be seen. I suspect we are one of many, and I would urge the Seychelles government to look in Air Seychelles behavior and work to educate or fine them because their lack of basic business ethics and customer service is really having a detrimental impact on future tourism.

This is not a company, it is scam! They cancelled my flight, no links where can I apply for refund, just an email and phone. No answer on both! I booked 2-leg flight, they cancelled inbound flight but not he outbound. Sure I don't need the outbound! Having read similar experience, I will need to kiss my money good bye, refund takes from 5 to 24 months, if you get it at all! This scam should be closed!

Sehr schlechte Airline. Flug wurde einfach um 10h verschoben. Dass wir dadurch den Anschlussflug, eine gebuchtes Hotel und den Transfer verpassen war hier allen herzlich egal.
Keine Unterstützung und vor allem keine Einsicht, dass die Airline allein schuldig war und natürlich keinerlei Erstattung der anfallenden Kosten. Kundenservice unterirdisch und der Englischen Sprache nicht mächtig.

Unpünktlicher Flieger, keine Kompensation.

Unser Flugzeug ist ohne Angaben von Gründen 3h zu spät in Mahé gestartet. Somit war der Anschluss in Abu Dhabi nicht mehr erreichbar. Wir mussten eine Nacht mit 4h Schlaf in einem weit entfernten Hotel bezahlen. Die zusätzlichen Parkkosten in Deutschland etc. wurden uns trotz Mailzusage nie erstattet. Meidet diese Airline, höchst unseriös.

Their staff treats Arabic, African decent and Indian decent as second class. And funnily the richest customers were non white who they were racism to. Bad for business? No sir or mam and literally the white sitting next gets lot of attention. Not to mention the fact that they are self racist which is weird. But why don’t they follow standard hospitality protocols. Bullshit they should be sued for such a behaviour what is this the 1600s. Is the owner doing any review of their staff or what. Bullshit airlines. The staff was on Abu dabhi to Seychelles flight on 30 dec. morning arrival. Hm 19.

Beinfreiheit nur für Personen unter 1,4m Grösse. Sitze defekt, Verpflegung schlecht, Unterhaltung am Bord nur eigene. Beim Ausfall eines Flugzeugs und somit 50% der Flugzeugflotte, ja 50%, kam es tagelang zu Verspätungen und zu Flugsusfällen. Bei 2 Flugzeugen kann man nicht wirklich von einer Fluggesellschaft sprechen. Bitte meiden.

Have booked multiple flights using Air Seychelles and have nothing shady to report. Just a standard airline company with pretty much standard prices as all others

Avion annulé le 23 juin au départ de Mahé vers Abu Dhabi. La compagnie nous a simplement abandonnés , ni assistance , ni vol de retour , avec en plus l'obligation de quitter l'aéroport qui devait fermé à 23h !!!
Honteux

We had flights booked from Johannesburg to Seychelles, having travelled from London. We checked in online but the day before we were due to fly they cancelled the flight with no reason or solution, just a phone number. Called the number in the Seychelles and the person didn't have a clue what was going on. Had to abandon our holiday and have had nothing back from the company despite multiple attempts to get compensation. It transpires they only operate two aircraft despite being a national carrier. Avoid at all costs unless you are prepared for disappointment and to be substantially out of pocket.
